Very good location. You can walk to all the attractions within 10-15 minutes. Plenty of eating places nearby. Good breakfast. Metro station 2 minutes walk away.
The AC wasn’t working for the first night. We were told this was an area electricity problem and was not the fault of the hotel.
The service was excellent they offered breakfast for free which was a very enjoyable experience
Location is very comfortable
The location of the hotel is excellent in the heart of the old city and close to the attractions.And just steps away to Gulhane tram station.

Breakfast was fair. Stuff not so friendly.
Better management. Food was not enough good. Staff should be standard. They have forgotten smiling probably. Almost all. They didn’t gave a wake up call, rather after 15 mins past 3 pm when I asked some Hannah from reception told there were no connection. I told he could send a house keeper, he told he had none. There was electricity failure, we had to wait for almost one hour. We were at level 6 and the generator worked with tremendous sound whole the night waking us. That night room temperature was high but as we check out early morning we didn’t called the reception.
Hotel classico, sobrio negli arredi, ben organizzato e non lontano da molti luoghi d’interesse. Ben insonorizzato e silenzioso pur essendo in zona centrale e vivace. Personale preparato ed efficiente, soprattutto Sebahat e Fatih.

Staff at Doubletree Sirkeci are very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The location is excellent - walking distance to most historical sights and very close to tram stop. My family of 4 (2 adults, and 2 kids) had an excellent time in Istanbul and we are very happy that we chose to stay here. We will book again if we return!
Brilliant staff
The location is great, neat and clean hotel, the staff was very friendly, Ms. Rabia at front desk was very professional and helping through out our stay. Very nice play to stay if you truly want to enjoy the real Istanbul, all major landmarks on walking. I stayed with family and had a great time.
