Great pendulum.
Pros:

Smart, interesting hotel, especially the pendulum, great friendly staff.

Cons:

The position of the hotel is awkward for public transport, you need to do a lot of walking if you don't have a car. My room had the window obscured, I was happy to stay only one night.

All fine except odd room lighting arrangement
Pros:

The room was clean and the bed comfortable

Cons:

There was a table lamp without a bulb and there was no light switch beside the bed. It was necessary to get out of bed to turn the overhead light off and then find you way back to bed in the dark.Bizarre.

Nice shower, friendly staff, close to centre about 15 min walk. Breakfast nice.

Cons:

You can hear everything in the other rooms and I mean EVERYTHING!! noisy but once people are asleep its fine.
Breakfast replenishment was annoying, we turned up at 9.45 and lots of things empty, we had to ask for things to be replenished, staff wasn't actively actioning this but was very friendly when asked and completed instantly.

Cons:

Tbh, we had a great weekend. Now, when a person gets away for a break, like in life, it's people that make everything possible. This is also true in this case, from the cleaners to the manager on duty. There was nothing we didn't like. Keep it up, Pendulum, GC
