Convienient, clean hotel ideal for my stay in Manchester
My second visit. An excellent budget hotel. Friendly, polite and happy staff who are very helpful. Lots of services: rent an umbrella, quick booking of taxis at reception, late check out for a fee per hour. Very quiet. Clean rooms with comfortable bed. Appreciated the iron and ironing board. Good breakfast. Great meals in the restaurant on ground floor/outside. A competent no-drama all round good service. Felt safe. Definite thumbs up.

The location was great for me and very accessible for everything I needed to do in Manchester. Great value for money. It was an added bonus to have breakfast included - as I ended up working over lunch so didn't get a chance to eat, this meant I didn't starve.
While comfy, it did have a bit of a student halls of residence vibe. That was absolutely fine for me, but it's just a note.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Pendulum Hotel in Manchester. The location was excellent — close enough to the city centre to explore Manchester easily, while also being convenient for getting around during Manchester Caribbean Carnival weekend.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, check-in was straightforward, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed, and having breakfast at the hotel made things much easier before heading out for a busy day.
Overall, a very convenient and comfortable base for a weekend in Manchester. I’d happily stay at the Pendulum Hotel again and would recommend it for anyone visiting the city for an event, weekend break or sightseeing.

L'hotel è situato a ridosso del centro, a piedi si arriva dappertutto. Le camere sono di buone dimensioni e la colazione a buffet, soprattutto per il salato, è ottima.
La pulizia è il tallone d'Achille della struttura che altrimenti sarebbe perfetta. Ok gli standard inglesi, passi la moquette che è la norma, ma avere una nocciolina in terra per tutta la durata del soggiorno anche dopo aver rassettato la camera e trovare sempre in terra uno scontrino di 3 mesi prima è troppo! Praticamente entrano, fanno il letto e non puliscono. Se qualcuno della struttura legge la camera è la 424.

I stay on the third floor, and the window faces the yard of another building. Very hot nights, i didn feel safe to let the window open. There isnt ventilator neither aircondinionaire. Thus, that made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
The breakfast was so unhealthy! Greasy! Really incompatible with the health standards of nowadays. With the same cost, it could be better bread (There was a white, trashy bread), more fruits and proper yoghurt, etc...
Not much. It was a good location for our requirements but other than that it was dissappointing.
The room was very small. Barely enough space between the bed and walls so movement was very restricted particularly with two people trying to get around the room. Small ensuite bathroom and only a trickle of water from the basin tap even at max opening - very poor. Very limited window opening - uncomfortable on 2 hot nights. Noisy other hotel occupants. Having enjoyed our first stay in 2023, this stay was a let down.
Staff molto accogliente e disponibile, molto buona la colazione, la posizione e la pulizia. Camera piccolina ma dotata di tutto il necessario. Forse se le camere avessero un piccolo frigo sarebbe meglio visto il caldo estivo.

Was a nice hotel, reception area etc is lovely. Staff were nice and helpful.
Single room wasn’t the best… beds were comfy and clean which is all you need, but it just was really out dated, there was a hole in the wall where a light used to be, just didn’t feel the nicest. Was quite anxious staying there but like I said, bed was clean and comfortable so if that’s all you’re looking for then it’d suit you.
