Standard
Rooms have no air conditioning so extremely uncomfortable in the heat
Breakfast misleading as advertised there are no cooked options for vegetarian
Overall facilities are great, but no air conditioning in the rooms was a disappointment..
Temp in room (no air conditioning)
Basically everything, especially the location.
There is no air-condition in our room, so it is a bit warm during summer.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Rooms were clean and had good facilities
Shower was excellent
We were told we would get a discount on the NCP carpark. On arrival at the hotel (after parking) we were told that the discount was no longer supported. Also we could have parked overnight for free outside the hotel which would have been easier.
Double room was very small and although we had a fan it was extremely hot.
Uncomfortable bed. No air conditioning
Es un hotel bastante grande
Las habitaciones son demasiado pequeñas.
Great exterior appearance, great location with close by parking and reasonably priced.
There was no air conditioning on any of the rooms. Although a fan was provided in each room it did little to drop the temperature in most of the rooms.
The rooms are comfortable but do need an update in places.
Close to center and the uni as there for daughters graduation the next day
Room was stifling hot, window only opens a crack with no a/c and just a small fan
There were some new staff who made some pretty fundamental mistakes, which caused a good deal of inconvenience and nuisance. They clearly were too new to have been left unsupervised. However, the manager, and Sue, were both extremely good, helpful, and put things right.
The paintwork everywhere is bashed and in need of redecorating. The carpets are stained and need ripping up and replacement, everywhere. It was a really hot few days, the air-conditioing in the communal areas was great, but the radiators were also on, full. The staff said they knew about this, and thought it was a timer, but what a waste of money, must cost your company hundreds of pounds in wasted fuel, and it also very bad for the environment. In the room, there was no aircon, no safe, and no fridge. The friendliness of the staff did help, but I would not re-book here.
I've stayed here numerous times, so was happy to return
For a three star hotel to charge over £100 per night and have no air conditioning, it's seriously not value for money anymore. Also, there was no ITV on my television, on the night England were playing.
The receptionist went from being very friendly to dismissive when I complained about the furnace that was my room. She did upgrade me, which was kind, but I turned it down as it was even hotter.
Also, the female manager came out of her office, looked at me and then turned back without remotely acknowledging my presence. Where do you train these people?
Thankfully another receptionist, who I met in the corridor, was lovely and helpful.
All in all, a poor stay with little sleep due to the heat of the room
Location and facilities
No central air conditioner, especially with ongoing heat waves
