Most of the staff were pleasant and efficient. We asked for an extra blanket for the room and that was provided no problem. Cosy bar area and guest lounge. Good breakfast.

Cons:

The gentleman on reception in the morning on checking out was a little lacking in basic good manners, e.g. no "Good Morning did you have a nice stay?" etc. A little uncommunicative and I felt quite uncomfortable.

Convenient friendly
Pros:

Very cosy very friendly staff and most importantly dog friendly

Cons:

The food menu options was not good. Also we were not told about the kitchen being off for the evening that we stayed.
