Pros:

Wunderschön gelegen direkt vor der Ilha de Cabanas und insgesamt eine sehr gepflegte Anlage. Das gesamte Hotel machte einen sauberen und modernen Eindruck. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Besonders begeistert hat uns das Frühstück. Die Auswahl war außergewöhnlich groß, mit vielen Variationen und einer tollen Mischung aus herzhaften und süßen Speisen. Gerade die vielen Süßspeisen, die große Auswahl an Brot und Brötchen sowie diverse Säfte und sogar Sekt haben das Frühstück zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Dazu spielte morgens ein Pianist, was eine wirklich angenehme Atmosphäre geschaffen hat.
Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und modern gestaltet. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte ausgezeichnet und auch deutsches Fernsehprogramm war vorhanden.
Ein echtes Highlight war die Rooftopbar mit kleinem Pool und schönem Blick über die Umgebung. Auch der große Poolbereich war sehr gelungen und abends stimmungsvoll beleuchtet.
Praktisch waren außerdem die Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel, sofern gerade etwas frei war.
Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel mit angenehmer Atmosphäre und vielen Details, die den Aufenthalt besonders machen.

Cons:

Leider gab es auch einige Punkte, die nicht zu einem ansonsten sehr schönen Hotel gepasst haben. Auf der Matratze befand sich ein faustgroßer dunkler Fleck. Gerade in einem so gepflegt wirkenden Hotel fragt man sich schon, warum so etwas offenbar übersehen wird. Natürlich lag ein Laken darüber und man arrangiert sich damit, trotzdem hinterlässt es kein gutes Gefühl.
Was allerdings wirklich nicht akzeptabel war, war das russisch Roulette mit dem Warmwasser. Von fünf Übernachtungen hatten wir an drei Tagen kein warmes Wasser. Das darf in dieser Hotelklasse schlichtweg nicht passieren und steht in keinem guten Verhältnis zum ansonsten hohen Anspruch des Hauses.
Genau dafür wurden letztlich auch Bewertungspunkte abgezogen, denn das ist für uns ein klares No-Go.

Nice time but wouldn’t want to be there in the height of the summer because the facilities/spaces aren’t big enough

A lovely hotel on the Ria Formosa just a short walk to the village. Nice food especially in the Ria restaurant.

Cons:

Our room wasn’t cleaned until 4.30pm, a time when I wanted a shower after being in the spa and a rest before the evening began. The bar staff were rude in the lounge bar, kept giving me the wrong drink. Not enough space for everyone to sit in the bar area on an evening. No entertainment on an evening.

Conforto a cama. Colchão completamente deformada, a primeira noite foi impossível dormir. Nó dia seguinte logo pela manhã bem cedo solicitámos resolução da situação junto da receção. Quando chegámos ao hotel por volta das 21h nada tinham feito e para nosso espanto a colaboradora que estava nem sequer sabia do que se tratava. Ficámos cerca de 1 hora sentados na receção ( das 21h ás 22h) a aguardar que resolvessem a situação. Dececionante é muita falta de atenção ao cliente.
