Super 8 by Wyndham Wall

Made reservations ahead of time and I arrived to find the hotel closed for the season. Tried to contact them at various published numbers multiple times. Some numbers led to a full voice mail box, some just ring. Call the Super 8/Wyndham corporate customer service number, worked through the automated system to finally talk to a human, who told me that it would be escalated and I would hear back from them in a week. Worst customer service ever. Why are they taking reservations for a closed hotel? AND they billed my credit card. I am beyond pissed. STAY AWAY.

Decent hotel for the price paid. Very friendly staff at check in. Clean room.
Weak on the breakfast and no staff on hand in the morning. Gave us some coupons for local establishments, but they weren’t honored for the free drinks so I question if those places would have honored the coupons for breakfast. We would have also had to go to another location, get seated, leave a tip, etc. But we stayed for the convenience, location, and cost and those expectations were met

There was a room either above ours or next to ours where the people were being incredibly loud and kept me awake between 2 am and 4 am. I would have complained but somehow my husband managed to sleep through it and I didn't want to wake him up. However, with how loud they were being, the front desk should have been able to hear as our room was not far from the front desk at all. The breakfast was lacking but we did get gift certificates for free breakfast at w local restaurant so that was nice.

This is a basic, very modest, clean, hotel, conveniently located near the highway. A nice option was coupons for a free beverage (including beer & wine) at a local bar & restaurant and for free breakfast (eggs or French toast) at the same place.

Clean room with a comfy bed-I don't think I moved once during my sleep! Would definitely stay again!!

CHEMICAL SMELL IN ROOM OVERPOWERING. We left due to air quality of room with no refund. It was that bad and not worth the risk of staying. After only being in room for less than 5 minutes we knew it was hazardous to our health to breathe this scent all night. The air quality was so bad we chose to leave forfeiting our non-refundable booking rather than stay in this room. We requested a refund (none given). It should be understood that in the very least when booking a room that part of the booking beyond bed and bathroom includes a habitable air quality environment. This air quality was so poor due to whatever chemicals they are using to maintain this establishment that after departure the scent stayed with us. It permeated our clothing and could be smelled on our arms. We travel regularly and for decades. There has only been one other time in my travel history where I have had to leave (South Florida mold situation) for air quality. I mention this because we are not ones to complain and be picky. We stay in plenty of run down places without issues. In this establishment leaving was warranted. It was worth it to us, tired as we were, to find a new place to stay and lose our money from this booking rather than breathing in chemicals all night.

The front desk clerk was very nice and kind. I have nothing good to say about the room. It was not as portrayed on line. Would not stay here again.

Clean room

Comfortable stay in Wall. Hotel is clean, breakfast was good (was also given coupon for full breakfast elsewhere had I wanted it). Staff is friendly.

Beds and pillows were comfortable. Lamps were dusty. Wall behind refrigerator was covered in dust from air conditioning unit.

Good location and good service.

Staff was so nice and friendly! The biggest downside was the shades did not block out the light at night. The outside lights were SO bright that it lit up the room :-( Otherwise the room was fine--appreciated the extra plugins that older rooms don't normally have!
