Food at food pantry was ridiculously overpriced.
Room Size.
Unfortunately, my experience at this property was far from satisfactory. A fire alarm sounded in the middle of the night, law enforcement was knocking loudly on the door of the adjacent room, and there was mold and mildew visibly coming from the electrical box. Additionally, the walls provided virtually no sound insulation, allowing noise from neighboring rooms to be heard clearly, and the water pipes were excessively loud. These issues created an environment that felt neither peaceful nor safe.

The floors were sticky, the receptionist did not get us until 4 pm, even after early check in requested 1 day before

A little expensive for our budget
The lay out of the room and the location of the property.
More attention to guest services. They never refreshed the room. Trash overflowed for 4 days and we had to physically get change of towels and take used towel to the front desk. Not because of the holiday, but because they will only refresh your room if you stay 4 days or more. Very poor guest services. Was not made aware that there was paid parking, before check in. I should pay to bring my business to you? Not a good selling point. I refused and they waived it. Terrible policy. Will not book this property again, because of it, and will inquire with any property going forward. This is a new policy and a new way of gouging the guest. This greed will cost this hotel business and I travel to Charleston A LOT !! Remove the trash can and smoking trays from the doors of the property. Non smokers do not want to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to the hotel. Bad policy and it is a negative on public health !

The elevator was a little slow
this stay was emasculate! i recommend this hotel for every person that comes to charleston ! polite staff, very clean areas, housekeeping was such a sign of relief to have !
