The hotel was fabulous- beautiful view from the balcony on the room of the bay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a family of 4 and I booked a quadruple room. I didn’t appreciate from the booking that there were 2 bedrooms, one for the double and another with 2 single. That was a pleasant surprise! I wish we had been able to stay more than 1 night. I would definitely return and recommend!

La situation. La superbe terrasse face mer est très agréable pour boire un délicieux cocktail après une journée de visites.

L’hôtel était calme et agréable, le personnel très bien, les chambres et espaces communs sont bien décorés
Rien juste une petite précision qui ne nous a pas dérangés mais important pour ceux qui viennent visiter La Rochelle, le centre ville est un peu éloigné à pied, mais accessible par une jolie promenade piétonne
La vue imprenable sur la mer, la terrasse, la gentillesse et l'enthousiasme du personnel... sans oublier l'excellent petit déjeuner ! J'ai eu un coup de coeur pour le sol moelleux de la douche qui a été un bonheur après les 15000 pas de la journée haha. + la possibilité d'emporter une bouteille d'eau pour la journée.
Le seul point négatif que j'ai relevé est le sentiment que c'était un peu limite au niveau des équipements, pour un 4 étoiles : pas de verre de bienvenue, pas de boissons dans le mini-bar, des sachets de café solubles au lieu d'une vraie machine à café, pas d'amenities au-delà des gel-douches et du savon pour les mains. Le prix de la chambre étant assez élevé de base, quelques petites attentions supplémentaires pour les clients seraient fortement appréciées.

L'emplacement de l’hotel est tres bien, la terrasse vue sur l'océan est idyllique et tres ressourçante. La vue mer de la chambre, meme celles qui n'ont pas de balcon est un vrai plus tres apprécié.
L'hôtel est globalement magnifique.
Il n'y a pas de restaurant et l'offre est donc très limité. Dans ce contexte je trouve le prix du petit déjeuné assez cher.

Nichts alles wunderbar. Es hilft aber wenn man ein Auto hat oder Fahrräder.

The hotel was in a little spot around a 30 minute walk to the main harbour. The view from the terrace is a gorgeous seaview and across into the harbour itself. All rooms have a balcony, some looking over the back of neighbouring properties in lanc and the others have a seaview. The breakfask is buffet style with a mix of cereals, pastries, bread, cold meats, cold hard boiled eggs, cheese and salad, as well as scrambled eggs and hot meats.
The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and the rooms and communal areas are clean and bright.
Our room (no 50) was the smallest in the hotel, but we didn't mind too much, as we were out and about for the majority of the day and were only staying 2 nights, if we were staying longer, it may have been more of an issue.
We didn't realise that the in hotel bar closed at 10pm, we came back after being out for dinner and wanted a nightcap, but we were too late.
