Kompas Hotel Is Possibly The Best Hotel In Dubrovnik
Pros:

Everything was superb from the friendly greeting at reception to the enormous room with the most comfortable bed and pillows I have overslept on.
We had room 809 which had spectacular views over the bay and the most amazing sunsets.
Breakfast was plentiful and fresh.
So much choice you will be totally spoilt and never want to leave.
5 star stay and will definitely return soon.
Croatia is a beautiful country and it's people are super friendly.
It is very clean and feels safe.
The people are very proud of their country and heritage which was a delight to witness.
Dubrovnik is by far the most stunning place we have ever been too.
If you get a chance visit now and definitely stay at the Kompas Hotel in Lapad, just a 5 euro taxi ride from Dubrovnik Old Town

U pravilu nam se svidjelo sve od samog početka, osoblje na recepciji i cijeli proces check in, sama recepcija i cjelokupno hotel i njegova ponuda. Sve je bilo više nego super dok nismo došli na večeru i sutradan na doručak. Jako loše i neugodno osoblje u tom dijelu. Često idemo u predsezoni i posezoni u hotele u raznima gradovima i ovako nešto nismo doživili. Komentari i pogledi dobiveni od osoblja su bili katastrofa. Sami voditelj smjene da daje komentare o našoj djeci, jako loše i neočekivano u ovakvom tipu hotela. I također ogromne pohvale i čistaćicama, jako ljubazne i profesionalne.

Cons:

Izbjegavajte poziciju blizu šanka gdje možete čuti komentare neugodnog i neraspoloženog osoblja. Dajemo i dalje dobru ocjenu i ne želimo da se kvari zbog određenih pojedinaca.

Beautiful view and location, Room and facilities good but could be better, food subpar.
Pros:

Location is beautiful and easy to get a short taxi to Old town.
Bar and lounge was very nice, great service and selection with a view.
Hotel in general is very well looked after.

Cons:

Restaurant in the hotel is mediocre at best, prices are on the higher side and quality and options not so much.
Beds were a little too stiff for my liking but that is personal preference.
Air con is heating only in winter which was annoying, we prefer a cold room to sleep in as we get hot very easily so we kept the balcony door open all night for ventilation and temp control.

Pros:

Sve pohvale ponajprije za osoblje koje je jako ljubazno!
Hotel je jako čist, uredan i miran. Posebno me oduševila kvaliteta hrane koja se služi u hotelskom restoranu.
