Absolutely fantastic hotel! Perfectly located with a beautiful view of Sorrento and the Bay of Naples, beautiful hotel with an amazing, thoughtful staff. We will definitely return!

Fiquei encantado com a vista e a decoração, é um hotel que se estima ser do século 18 mas com cuidado e zelo que fazem parecer um hotel recém inaugurado, os atendentes são extremamente gentis e atenciosos, a localização é excelente, cerca de 10 minutos a pe para o centro, bom estacionamento, excelente cafe da manhã é extremamente limpo, bons drinks com um custo bem razoável, voltarei em breve.

What can I say? This hotel is quite possibky one of the best I have ever stayed in. We returned to Sorrento after 25 years to celebrate our silver anniversary and recreate our honeymoon. We chose this hotel as it had amazing views and was very close to the town. Our room was lovely with traditional bright decor and we had a huge balcony (511). From the moment we arrived, we felt like the staff wanted us to have a perfect experience. Nothing was too much trouble. The waiting and bar staff were particularly lovely, alwas asking if everything was ok and we were having a good time.
We had booked the hotel as Tui had told us it was adults only but this turned out not to be the case. However, it was still a pretty quiet and peaceful hotel with amazing food and a lovely drinks menu.
Everything was super clean and I felt itwas great value for the money. The bed was also super comfortable.
The pool is lovely with stunning views of the bay and plenty of sunbeds.
Thankyou for a great stay and a very happy second honeymoon.

Great location, very clean, staff so helpful, stayed for a week here with my wife, so close to everything, amazing views from the balcony rooms very clean and well furnished, cleaning and fresh towels everyday, roof top pool and bar is lovely and relaxed. staff at reception very helpful with organizing trips and transfers. Check out is 11am but reception allowed us to keep our room until 4pm for our flight home which basically gave us another day in the hotel, wonderful stay with very helpful and nice staff Will be back again this year!

We had a very nice and spacious room with a balcony overlooking Vesuvius and the ocean. The view from the breakfast terrace was stunning, and it is only about a 15-minute walk to the city center. Antonio the bartender was always very attentive and helpful, giving us great tips for excursions.

The only area for improvement was the kitchen. We tried ordering sunny-side-up eggs several times, but without luck. The dinner menu could also be a bit more varied. However, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Visited for a week in July to celebrate husband's 60th birthday. This was our second visit to the beautiful Hotel Minerva. We had the most wonderful relaxing week, made even more special by the fabulous team of staff, all so warm, thoughtful and welcoming: from reception, pool/bar, restaurant and housekeeping. You were all amazing. Where else would a member of the restaurant female staff give you one of their own hair bobbles, because i had lost mine whilst walking into Sorrento, and i was trying unsuccessfully to tie my hair up due to the heat. Our room was perfect, we had a seaview (there was no balcony but that didn't bother us. We hadn't paid for a balcony room so did not expect one) but the room we did have was large and overlooked the beautiful bay of Naples and nightly show of fireworks. The hotel is perfectly situated close to Sorrento itself to stroll there and back (but there is a bus too), but far enough away from the crowds. We stayed half board, breakfast I particularly enjoyed and the evening meals catered for everyone and the menu changed daily. The hotel is spotlessly clean. We had no complaints whatsoever during the whole stay. Whilst there, we booked an excursion to Herculaneum half day, we enjoyed the trip and the collect/return to the hotel via air conditioned coach was worth every penny as the weather was extremely hot. We will be returning to see you all again. Our only disappointment was our holiday coming to an end and returning home.

This is not a new hotel, it has been on the Sorrento landscape for a 100+ years. It oozes old world style, class and charm. The decor doesn't let you forget this. Rooms are a fair size and we had one with a bay view (highly recommended).
Breakfast was standard & you can have it on the terrace with magnificent views of Sorrento bay, unforgettable.
We had dinner there one night and it couldn't be faulted.
All the staff were respectfully friendly, not in your face all the time. Sorrento town is only a 5 minute direct walk away
We will always remember Antonio in the bar for his professionalism and humour.
We will definitely be back and can't wait.

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had. The photos do not do it justice -- beautiful views, beautiful room, beautiful balcony, breakfast was amazing. The decor and atmosphere was tranquil, beautiful, and local. What stood out was the service and staff -- every single person was friendly, helpful, attentive, and made us feel at home! Incredible value for the price and will be staying here when I come back to Sorrento. Thank you to the whole team!
