Pros:

L’hôtel est très bien par lui même. Mais Tuan Chau est une ville de transit vers les croisières. Nous étions donc seuls dans cet hôtel et dans la ville ! Difficile de trouver à manger le soir. Il vaut mieux prendre un grab vers Halong. Mais sinon, belle chambre, belle terrasse et belle piscine le tout avec vue sur la baie.

Nice hotel, but located in a ghost town.
Pros:

The property was nice, but the island and town was a total ghost town with only a few people there. Good facilities and comfy beds. Great staff tho.

SCAM!!!
Pros:

I booked and PAYED the day before. When I arrived in the middle of the night there was a private party with Korean people eating, drinking and smoking at the lobby. They told me to go away and that the hotel was closed and booked only for them. No one at the reception to help. NO ONE WAS THERE. I had to leave after few minutes and book a last minute hotel to get a bed. Luckily the taxi driver wa sound enough to help me.
After 24h no one replied my messages. I believe they MUST reimburse me but I am still waiting to talk to someone.

Pros:

It was close to the harbor but just off the beaten path enough to be quiet. Large room with balcony overlooking the beach! The host was great, he accommodated our 5am arrival without being an eye which was much appreciated after an all night bus ride! 🙏

Cons:

Only stayed one night prior to our cruise but I have zero complaints and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Was opposite a beach 1 min walk. No on site food but buffet was 5 min walk away, same for breakfast.

Pros:

Perfect ! Room was clean and the people are so kind. They will give you a map so that you can explore the surrounding easily. You can rent bikes and scooters. Also they are very kind and convenient to book bus to go to your next destination

Arrived and it looked ok.
Tried to check in but the man on duty insisted on finishing his video game before he would serve me. I am not joking.
Room was quite nice but half of the lights didn’t work. Booked this hotel because it has a pool. But pool was dirty so i did not use it. No ice in the bar. Power cut in the night so woke up red hot from no AC. Only here for one night but i would have left anyway. It is a shame because with a little care it could be lovely.
