Comfortable convenient hotel, but breakfast wasn't well organized.
Pros:

Very nice welcome. Room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my dinner.

Cons:

The breakfast wasn't well managed. I arrived about 8:15 am and there were many people there from a tour bus, I think. The tables weren't set, food wasn't replenished. I could not easily find a coffee cup.

I also found the yoghurt service very strange... from a machine. Only small amounts came out. (And there weren't any bowls near the yoghurt.) I think you should have yoghurt in individual containers.

So breakfast was disappointing...

Wonderful staff, horrible room

The bed was very comfortable. The staff were winderful, friendly, helpful. The dining facilities were very pleasant.

I really didn't like the bedroom. It was very odd. It felt like a student studio bedsit. The layout was strange, the bathroom area was curtained off from the main room, and there was a separate toilet (with a door). As you walk into the room you are confronted by a long, thin desk, with the kettle and phone on it, underneath is the fridge and safe. Then right next to the desk, the other side, was the big bed. If two people were in the room, one would be obliged to climb over the bed to get in or out. It felt very much like a room you might expect in a 2-star or 1-star lodging and not a 3 or 4 star hotel. Then the light switches were all over the place with no indication which switch was for what light. And even more annoying, the TV didn't seem to have any film/international options in English. There was no armchair (there was really no room because of the layout), only an unwelcoming stool. Not a relaxing environment at all. I was very, very disappointed.

Pros:

Toujuors très bien accueillis au MERCURE . très bonne idée de proposer deux formules pour le petit dej car on a pas toujours le temps de prendre la grande formule .

Cons:

les prix du restaurant ont fortement augmentés malheureusement . Je peux comprendre la hausse des matières premières et du personnel mais tout de même.C'est dommage .

Pleasant hotel near train station but maybe not a good choice in hot weather.

Cons:

Room was quite small. Also, as other reviewers have noted, the hotel limits the air conditioning to 22C or 72F. So if you like sleeping in a colder room you are out of luck.

A true resort in Avignon
Pros:

Excellent in house restaurant and pool was a nice treat. Easy to check in, staff was amazing and let us check in early which was greatly appreciated

Sejour agreable qui aurait pu etre parfait si j'avais eu un vrai grand lit
Pros:

l'accueil etait parfait avec un petit cadeau de specialité locales, le personnel tres sympathique et serviable. le parking devant l'hotel est assez petit mais un plus grand a 2 min est disponible et securisé. La chambre est design et bien equipé.

Cons:

le lit qui n'est pas un grand lit comme indiqué sur l'annonce mais 2 petit lits collés l'un a l'autre donc ils bougent et s'ecarte l'un de l'autre si l'on se met au milieu du lit, donc pas tres confortable.
