Pros:

Very comfortable and quiet. Beautiful location. I loved the deep tub in my room. The wristbands took some getting used to. The only thing was I could have used a wastebasket in the living/ dining area.

Cons:

Nothing really.

I’ll keep coming back. I have not been disrespected by the staff or guest. Perfect family getaway and my family enjoys t
Pros:

The amenities and shuttle

Cons:

It was about 9pm we were in a studio suite in the ridge pointe and security came to our door about 9:30pm stating our tv was too loud for our neighbors. Mind you we have kids. Maybe this was mistake on our side for booking a studio suite. The security did apologize for coming 30min early brother noise ordinance time which is good because if I had a complaint I would like it to be taken care of asap. But like i mentioned kids will be kids and this is a family resort, so take note of that. Anyways I did lower the TV. But I did not bitch about the 3am they were making when they were getting ready for their ski trip or early check out. Other than that this stay was 100%.

Pathetic.
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The photos shown is not necessarily what you get. They have 10 buildings and send you to one of those. We got sent to a building which was in poor condition. We got electric shocks. This is when they had another room in one of main buildings. First night was horrendous. Then had to work with staff to move, luckily there was another room in one of the main buildings.

No breakfast onsite either

Slightly disappointed.
Pros:

Rooms were OK once we were moved because of the boiler noise in the original room that kept my wife up half the night.

Cons:

I was under the impression this was a "ski in - ski out" location due to the Monorail feature. Well, it's NOT!
They do have a Monorail, which is supposed to be used to take you from the hotel to the lift, but during our stay it was not operational.
They were waiting on a part from Germany. Too bad that the broken part was not one of the 90% of the parts of the Monorail that come from the U.S. I had to use the shuttle bus, which takes 15 min to get from the closest hotel building to the stagecoach lift because the bus takes you all around on a tour of the whole village because of a one-way street. Add to it 10 min for waiting for the shuttle bus.

Disaster or worse. Poor Maintenance and worse attitudes!
Pros:

The room sounded like a freight train was running through it. My wife had been here for 5 days and on day one informed the front desk of the awful noise. I showed up on night 6… I am not one that accepts ignoring a clear simple fix so I called the front desk. Problem one, was the front desk tried to shrug it off as wind noise that cannot be managed… finally I convinced them to send engineering.

15 minutes later I got their self proclaimed “lead engineer”. In a less than stellar tone and frankly confrontational, He first told me that he could care less that this had been a problem for 5 days because there were no engineering work orders. I asked him if he was going to fix it now that he had an engineering work order… rather frustrated that he was wasting my time making excuses and not offering solutions… He then said he doesn’t do that kind of work… he went on to tell me he knows it’s a problem and he heard the same noise in half the rooms on our floor on the way to our room…

He said it’s the wind… well the wind outside should not whistle in our rooms. I asked if he could seal the door to fix the problem… he then tried to school me on seals and sweeps… again I didn’t need excuses or explanations on what he could t fix. He said you cannot stop it because the door was on carpet (even though it is a rubber transition and tile interior). He continued to talk down to me and told me he didn’t need to deal with someone not treating him with respect… (typical of folks like him to project what they do on others).

Bottom line , he should have walked up with 2 towels and told me to shove them under the door to temporarily solve the problem. Instead I had to take my grandsons blanket and shove it under the door to get the noise to stop… amazing that I could seal the door with a blanket and the engineer didn’t have the proper “sweep” to correct the issue.

Since the “lead engineer” couldn’t solve a problem he says happens in every room, I highly recommend avoiding the entire resort unless you enjoy constant loud whistling like a train.

The attitude of defend poor maintenance, defend poor communication from the front desk, try to convince me I need to just deal with it because everyone else does is not how you treat customers. He did not like that I challenged his poor demeanor, and clear lack of understanding on the simplicity of a solution. I have 3 other folks that heard the exchange and could not believe the piss poor attitude of the “engineer”

Avoid this place at ALL costs… a Super8 is classier and they appreciate your patronage..

We enjoyed our ski trip and stay at Tahoe Ridge

Very efficient shuttle to skiing. Unit was spacious and clean, admittedly showing some wear but hard to beat the value and convenience
