We took a chance on a place with no air conditioning. Bad choice!!!!! You would think you have windows in the room that open. Wrong! According to ordnances windows can only open about 2” which is insufficient for cooling the room. The first 2 nights we were here it was warm in the room. The third night we slept 2 hours because it was unbearably HOT! The next day we found out there are portable ac’s. That should have been offered at check in. Rooms are way too hot to be in during the day. To top it all off, there were some very disruptive people at the pool making me feel unsafe by myself. We had a studio room as our time share. In a studio you have no plates, cups, or silverware. It’s a bring your own.
On the positive side, bless Russell for hooking us up with the ac!!!!! Thanks Russell!!!!!
No AC. Hot. Sweating all night. No sleep no happy
View was stunning, and the staff, especially Tamara and Adrianne were so helpful and friendly!!!
The fireplace glass in our room was so dirty, you couldn't see the fire! Also, the pillows were too small, and too thick for us.
Location and staff
Tram/hotel ‘ski’ gondola was not operational.
Upgrade to laminate floors. Carpet is really nasty.
Location
Nothing
Very comfortable and quiet. Beautiful location. I loved the deep tub in my room. The wristbands took some getting used to. The only thing was I could have used a wastebasket in the living/ dining area.
Nothing really.
The amenities and shuttle
It was about 9pm we were in a studio suite in the ridge pointe and security came to our door about 9:30pm stating our tv was too loud for our neighbors. Mind you we have kids. Maybe this was mistake on our side for booking a studio suite. The security did apologize for coming 30min early brother noise ordinance time which is good because if I had a complaint I would like it to be taken care of asap. But like i mentioned kids will be kids and this is a family resort, so take note of that. Anyways I did lower the TV. But I did not bitch about the 3am they were making when they were getting ready for their ski trip or early check out. Other than that this stay was 100%.
Perfect ,… quite calm it’s awesome for relaxing n honeymoon
They don’t clean the snow, our car just got flipped/ spined
Nothing
The photos shown is not necessarily what you get. They have 10 buildings and send you to one of those. We got sent to a building which was in poor condition. We got electric shocks. This is when they had another room in one of main buildings. First night was horrendous. Then had to work with staff to move, luckily there was another room in one of the main buildings.
No breakfast onsite either
Rooms were OK once we were moved because of the boiler noise in the original room that kept my wife up half the night.
I was under the impression this was a "ski in - ski out" location due to the Monorail feature. Well, it's NOT!
They do have a Monorail, which is supposed to be used to take you from the hotel to the lift, but during our stay it was not operational.
They were waiting on a part from Germany. Too bad that the broken part was not one of the 90% of the parts of the Monorail that come from the U.S. I had to use the shuttle bus, which takes 15 min to get from the closest hotel building to the stagecoach lift because the bus takes you all around on a tour of the whole village because of a one-way street. Add to it 10 min for waiting for the shuttle bus.
