Categories

Cleanliness
9
Multiple reviews explicitly praise cleanliness: rooms and hotel described as very clean despite being older; housekeeping generally noted positively.
Service
8.8
Staff repeatedly described as very friendly and helpful by several guests, though a few comments mention some less-friendly employees; overall service is a strong point.
Location
9
Location is frequently noted as a positive (close to the beach, good views from sea-facing rooms); considered a key asset by guests.
Room Quality
8
Beds often described as comfortable and rooms spacious, but furniture and bathrooms noted as dated and one report of a balcony door not closing properly.
Amenities
6
Several negative mentions: pool is small and child-focused, gym equipment limited or out of service, no hotel loungers on the beach and pool bar closing early—amenities underwhelming for hotel size.
Value for Money
6.6
Mixed-to-negative sentiment: guests report repetitive/poor buffet offerings, limited included drinks (e.g., poor cocktails, no crushed ice), and lack of expected services (beach loungers), reducing perceived value.
Food and Beverage
5
Food repeatedly criticized: buffet described as repetitive, limited healthy options, low-quality grills and few good meal choices; some guests noted occasional good dishes but overall F&B is a weak point.
Overall Experience
10
Overall sentiment is mixed but leans positive on core aspects (cleanliness, friendly staff, location). Despite weaknesses in food and amenities, the strong positives led to a high aggregate experience score in this analysis.

Good location right on the beach and close proximity to the town facilities of La Cala de Mijas
Pros:

The location was right on the sea front. Parking charges were reasonably priced at 10€ per day. The wardrobes had proper coat hangers and plenty of space for clothes. Tha safe was easy to use. Good choice of food in the restaurant and a microwave if needed.

Cons:

Nothing really everything was fine and good value for money.

Excelente custo benefício
Pros:
