A Gem of a Hotel!
Pros:

This hotel was so great. The staff were all pros, the location was lovely, the pool was great, and the food was on point! (And the lobby smelled SO good. I never thought I would find a hotel lobby so remarkable from a scent perspective). Anyway, would definitely go back!

Serious issues with the hotel.
Pros:

I stayed at the hotel from December 22 to December 27. Very nice hotel and a very pleasant staff. 2 major issues:
- There was a theft from my room which I reported to the management. To date January 3, 2026, NO RESPONCE!!!! I consider this to be very poor.
- The hotel of this caliber does NOT offer any slippers in the rooms!!! Very poor.

Truly unforgettable event at the Saint Vincent!
Pros:

Hosted a dear friend's 40th birthday celebration at the Chapel Club in January of 2026 and it was such an amazing evening.

The team of Jamie and Kristin, the beyond perfect bartenders of Larry and Bobby and support staff of Secret and Isaac ensured our evening was PERFECT.

The drinks perfect, the food tasty, the space filled with atmosphere, I can not recommend the Hotel Saint Vincent enough!

Customer service is nonexistent. We have serious regrets about booking this hotel. It’s at best a 3 star option.
Pros:

Would never stay here again. From the start, non-existent customer service. The doorman watched me get out of my uber and never offered to help me up the stairs or into the lobby with my bag. Front desk was horrendous and unhelpful. Our room, a suite, had one thing going for it. It’s a decent size. Otherwise, it’s about Hampton Inn -level, or actually below. It’s horribly lit, the bathroom is tiny and the furniture is uncomfortable. There’s no table or desk for work. The bathrobes are shredded and look like thrift store finds. Towels are rough. Bathroom is super dark, no door to the shower and saloon style doors- as uncomfortable as it gets. We tried to go to the bar, and it was full. The other bar was closed for a private event, and the restaurant told us we were out of luck when we wanted a drink. We went elsewhere. Called about breakfast and no one knew when it started. Finally, someone told us it started at 8. On weekdays. Again, we will be leaving the hotel to get a basic service.
Very disappointed. We could have stayed at the four seasons for this price. Definitely do not recommend you are looking for a luxury hotel experience.

Love this hotel!!
Pros:

This was my 3rd stay at this wonderful hotel and we fell even more in love with it. Not only is the property gorgeous and perfectly located but the STAFF… They were friendly, helpful and made us feel right at home. We were dropping our daughter off at Tulane so we were emotional and busy - and the staff embraced us like we were family friends. Toi, Eddy, Karen, Chase…thank you all. Even the ghosts were friendly 😜! The room was gorgeous. The food was great. The property was clean and impeccably designed. We will definitely be back.

Great Property, and Terrific Team at Hotel St. Vincent!
Pros:

We had such a wonderful stay at the Hotel St. Vincent. We had been wanting to check it out for some time, and we are so glad we did! Just walking up the stately stone steps to the entryway/wrought iron-laced porch of this historic building was a treat! The gentleman at reception who brought our bags to our room (I'm so sorry we didn't get his name) was quietly efficient. Sarah Drake, their Chief Concierge, ensured we had a great stay on our special occasion. In addition to Sarah's curated restaurant and entertainment recommendations, she is happy to share noteworthy tidbits about the building and her insider knowledge of NOLA and its traditions. Her communication before and during our stay was terrific and really enhanced our experience. The property is gorgeous, and the thoughtful design touches (the key cards mirror the funky in-room wallpaper no less!) abound. Our room was a suite, and it was a knock-out, a gorgeous tiled bathroom, soaking tub, and sitting area, even a porch. With the proximity of Magazine Street shops, restaurants, and shopping, two days were really not enough to experience the area AND slow down to soak in the hotel's unique spaces (San Lorenzo- we had two excellent experiences/dinners here, the two (beautiful) bars, the pool, and the bakery/restaurant and gift shop- even the reception area is lovely!). We hope to return!

Sweet stay at the hotel Saint Vincent
Pros:

I stayed at the hotel St. Vincent for two nights and I was more than pleased. I was celebrating my birthday and I live just outside of New Orleans. I figured as vacation would be perfect for me.
This hotel was recommended from a friend of mine, and I just had to come check it out. Poolside vibes were amazing despite it being the end of August, which is a swamp outside? I highly recommend this place and I’m very much looking forward to my next staycation.

A++ experience, far better than Bourbon street nonsense
Pros:

We hosted our annual holiday offsite at the (beautiful) Hotel Saint Vincent and it was outstanding. The entire team at the hotel took fantastic care of us, from rooms to dining arrangements. All the folks who attended said they felt like they were truly in New Orleans at this hotel - with everything we needed right at our fingertips. Excellent job by Justin, Cedric, Mel and everyone else who provided an A++ experience for us. We were close enough to Bourbon street to do that if folks wanted to, but the garden district / Magazine street area was just our speed. Would book again without hesitation.

Bad Hotel with a great look!
Pros:

The hotel is visually stunning, with vibrant colors and keeping the 1800 look and feel. Its meant to be looked at not lived in though!

From the start at checkin, front desk staff was polite but not friendly or helpful, and not very competent. They mentioned a special $100 credit but of course didn't apply it at checkout, later claiming i never told them abou tit. At checking, i asked where to walk around nearby and the guy just waived his hand and pointed in a general direction. He didn't know the exact hours the bars or restaurants would close at or didn't know much. Same kind of guy was at checkout, polite but useless.

The rooms aren't meant to be lived in. There was a huge couch in front of the bed to keep the theme but it had no side table to use for sitting and eating/drinking, it occupied most of the remaining free space so the larger room actually felt tight. Only a small window for natural lighting. NO USB charging ports. To get fresh water, there was a big water glass jug that you had to keep asking them to refill. The mini bar had little wine bottles for almost $40 just to rip you off.

This is a great museum but terrible hotel. Beware!

hospitality is becoming a lost art
Pros:

this is a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and good food but it does not deserve a Michelin key. that is based on service in the dining room and the front desk. The wait staff are not professional and don't understand the proper etiquette around wine service, coursing, and genral manners. this morning we went to go check out and asked the front desk to send a bellmen which took 20 minutes of us running around the property in the heat and following up multiple times with staff members for one to finally come to our room. we stated this hotel in the past and had nothing but wonderful experiences, not sure what changed.

Ultra Cool Vibe and Design
Pros:

First of all this hotel has one of the most unique vibes I’ve been to in the world for the size. It’s about 75 rooms and it has like at least six or seven spaces which are really cool to go to the pool area has a whole old world Garden vibe and then there’s multiple lounges bars but the one that’s really cool is called Chapel club and has like a curated cocktail and food menu which highly recommend zucchini fries shrimp cocktail the Barada all of it. Perfect I would come here just for cocktails for dinner or absolutely stay.

This place is THE BEST!
Pros:

This place is the best!! The Hotel Saint Vincent is beautiful and there is a sense of ease that runs through every corner of this gorgeous hotel, thanks to the team working there. Everyone I interacted with was polished, gracious and kind.
Even before we checked in I called a couple times to get restaurant ideas and even to check where I'd already booked. They were happy to help! Benton was especially amazing like my new friend who just happens to know every cool place in town. Every recommendation he gave was on point. And when I was at the hotel he went out of his way to ensure I had a great stay. He is such an asset to the hotel!!
I stayed in the Mary Suite, a soaring, cinematic space, and then the 2 queen room Both are nice but the Mary Suite (the first floor one) is truly gorgeous- it is the one you see on the website pics.
Yet it’s the people who work here who make it so outstanding! If you’re looking for a stay that’s as polished as it is personal, the Hotel Saint Vincent delivers in every way. And the location is a 10/10.
In the last year, I've also stayed at Maison Metier and Four Seasons in New Orleans. Saint Vincent is at the very top of the list for me and where I want to stay every time from now on.

Favorite Hotel in NOLA
Pros:

This is our favorite boutique hotel in NOLA, the design, the smell, the staff, the pool, the truffle fries. Amazing. We can’t wait to go back next year.

A very fun, cool stay, we will be back!
Pros:

This is an excellent choice in New Orleans, especially if you have reason to be in the Garden District. The building and grounds are stunning, and lots of nooks in which to relax around the property, including the pool and courtyard. Also, there are a variety of eating and drinking options, all good. Our room was spacious and the bathroom quite large. The whole place emits a very cool, but approachable vibe. One note: unless you like to walk (we did), or take cars (we do), it’s not particularly convenient to the French Quarter (~30 min. walk) ...........So, if your visit includes being in that area much of your stay, you may want to consider another option.

HORRIBLE customer service
Pros:

The absolute worst customer service at the front desk. There is no manager on site. I asked to speak to a manager upon check out and never received a call. When I called the hotel to speak about a billing issue, the front desk person told me "it was my problem" and literally hung up on me. Additionally, breakfast service was horrible. Waited forever for food and coffee.

Pros:

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! Peaceful, quiet, sophisticated, luxurious boutique with perfectly lovely staff. The restaurant and porch dining area are out of this world. The food is spectacular, creative and delicious-so much so that it was the best food we had in New Orleans. The street car to the French Quarter is a couple of blocks away, and the architecture of the Garden District is stunning. It is safe to walk about the neighborhood and there are sweet boutiques a few blocks walk away. The pool area is stunning, as well. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and I've been ALL OVER the world. STAY HERE! You won't be disappointed.
