Marienlyst Strandhotel

A lovely stay at Marienlyst Strandhotel, we can 100% recommend it to others. We were on the "Late Night Spa & Dinner", both the room, the food and the spa, were beyond anything we had expected. All the staff we were in contact with were friendly, smiling and happy. We will 100% return again.

Beautiful hotel with one of the best spa in Denmark. Your can walk fra the sauna direktly out in the ocean. Wonderfull experience. Great rooms with seaview (must be ordered specially). Delicious food in all the restaurants. Just go there, I have never been disappointed by a visit to Marienlyst. Visit Helsingør or drive a trip along the coastal road up the North Zealand coast and visit the cozy towns

Very nice hotel situated direct at the cost to Øresund. Wonderful welcoming atmosphere everywhere in the hotel; the lobby, restaurant and SPA. (we especially enjoyed the Sauna with "sauna gus") and the view was fantastic.
The Dinner in the restaurant was just perfect, good food and wine and the staff was very friendly and made the dinner atmosphere personal and cosy. We would recommend the Afternoon SPA & Dinner stay.

Amazing dinner at restaurant 1861 at Marienlyst Strandhotel.
Had the 5 course meal, with the wine menu. Both the food and wine was very good, and we had no complaints.
The staff was very kind, and had alot of knowledge about everything. Very kind, and politiet towards us.
Everything was spot-less, and lovely evening.
Would recommend it to everyone.
Bonus and best part of the dinner was our waiter, young man, who guided us through the dinner, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Had valentines dinner at resturant 1861 at Marienlyst Standhotel.
A very good evening for me & my partner - we enjoyed the 5 course meal, with the wine menu on the side.
The food was excellent, and we didnt have to wait between the meals.
The service was super! The young waiter we had, was very kind & caring, and he knew everything about the food & wine. Also very polite, and was checking at any time, if we needed more or if he could help with anything.
We sat with a very nice view over the sea & Sweden, and everything was very clean & spot-less
10/10 would visit the resturant 1861 again.

My wife had a great time with everything she could dream of - Starting with saunagus, spa treatments, champagne, romantic dinner and beautiful bed and ocean view. The visit was during winter and the hotel has so many hot outdoor baths. At summer the sandy beach has Kronborg and Sweden in the background. And we had fun with ping pong, curling and DJ. Lot's of great staff and nice guests.

Visited the hotel for a 3hr visit to the spa. Unfortunately since our last visit, the hotel has sold or outsourced management of their entire car park to Q-Park.

All signage relating to this is wholly in Danish and there was no other signposting to make it obvious that parking payment is now required.

On return to the car was issued a parking ticket of DKK915 + card processing fee of DKK15. This was £108 as a fine. Other cars in our party parked without paying in the same area did not receive a ticket.

Totally unfair that the hotel has done this and fails to notify guests clearly except for the signage in the car park in Danish.

Will not be visiting again and would advise people to not visit also.

Isabell var virkelig smuk og stemningsfuld at spise i. Både mad og betjening var i top.
Betjeningen i baren var også i top.

Hyggeligt med alle de spil og aktiviteter, der var til rådighed.

I am a single mum so most of my trips will be with my under 7 children . I liked the fact that we could go to the beach since they couldn’t use the pool area. It is one of the reasons why we booked the hotel in the first place.

Lobby / salon / bar tres agreable avec beaucoup de jeux et tres cosy.

Det smukkeste og mest vidunderlige hotel vi har besøgt. Der var ikke en finger at sætte på kvaliteten. Deres morgenmadsbuffet var enorm og indholdt alt hvad man kunne drømme om.
