Pleasant one-night stay with beautiful views and excellent food, though the price felt too high.
Pros:

Marienlyst Hotel has a lot going for it. The bar area is very spacious and pleasant, the views are beautiful, and the room was nice and comfortable. The food was also excellent, both at dinner and at breakfast.

Cons:

On the downside, the price feels too high for what you get. I understand this is Denmark, but with Sweden so close, where similar hotels cost around three times less, it is hard not to compare. Another minus is the early checkout at 10:00, which feels inconvenient. Also, the standing lamps in my room did not work, so only the bedside light was usable. Didn't bother to ask reception to fix, since it was 1 night only stay.

Our choice to recharge the batteries
Pros:

It's not the first time we go to Marienlyst and every time we're there, it's never disappointing. A very relaxed atmosphere and a warming place that is ideal to recover from an intensive time. Nice and spacious rooms, nice restaurants, cozy spaces, very nice spa with saunas, swimming pools, whirlpool both indoor and outdoor, including a swimming pool. The breakfast has a wide choice to please every different tastes. The staff is nice, welcoming and supporting, always with a smile. We'll keep going there cause the facility offers what we need, including sport activities like tennis, perfect when the weather is favorable.

A lovely stay at Marienlyst Strandhotell.
Pros:

A lovely stay at Marienlyst Strandhotel, we can 100% recommend it to others. We were on the "Late Night Spa & Dinner", both the room, the food and the spa, were beyond anything we had expected. All the staff we were in contact with were friendly, smiling and happy. We will 100% return again.

Очень приветливый персонал, отличный вкусный завтрак, место расположение этого отеля супер, но все таки недостатки есть

Уютно, приветливый персонал, великолепный завтрак, очень красивые виды.

Cons:

Не очень чисто в полулюксе ( грязная кровать), в номере нет тапочек ( на ресепшене выдали при запросе), пыльные плинтуса, довольно изношенная мебель.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel with one of the best spa in Denmark. Your can walk fra the sauna direktly out in the ocean. Wonderfull experience. Great rooms with seaview (must be ordered specially). Delicious food in all the restaurants. Just go there, I have never been disappointed by a visit to Marienlyst. Visit Helsingør or drive a trip along the coastal road up the North Zealand coast and visit the cozy towns

Best SPA experience in Denmark
Pros:

Very nice hotel situated direct at the cost to Øresund. Wonderful welcoming atmosphere everywhere in the hotel; the lobby, restaurant and SPA. (we especially enjoyed the Sauna with "sauna gus") and the view was fantastic.
The Dinner in the restaurant was just perfect, good food and wine and the staff was very friendly and made the dinner atmosphere personal and cosy. We would recommend the Afternoon SPA & Dinner stay.

Pros:

Amazing dinner at restaurant 1861 at Marienlyst Strandhotel.
Had the 5 course meal, with the wine menu. Both the food and wine was very good, and we had no complaints.
The staff was very kind, and had alot of knowledge about everything. Very kind, and politiet towards us.
Everything was spot-less, and lovely evening.
Would recommend it to everyone.
Bonus and best part of the dinner was our waiter, young man, who guided us through the dinner, and made sure we had everything we needed.
