Hotel Elbe

This hotel is shockingly bad. First of all there is no mentioning on the site that Elba hotel is situated in the red light district next to the house with “hearts” (see photo). Second of all the hotel itself is used as a location to schedule appointments for nightly quests (“zimmer frei”?). From around 11 p.m. up till 6.00 in the morning male voices are continuously heard in the hall and the sound of the elevator won't pause the whole night which makes it impossible to sleep, not mentioning the feeling of unsafety that appears. The hotel is extremely dirty and neglected. Smoking inside is fully tolerated. The fire alarms are either absent or not working (otherwise they would have been triggered the whole time). The smell is terrible inside. Such a regular thing as a body towel or a shower gel is not available. People come there for like an hour, I guess. By checking in no ID’s or passports are checked…In the morning a man with stoned eyes came out of the lift and started approaching me with the question how it was going...

The list of this terror can still to be continued but the message is clear, I believe

On my first night in Frankfurt, I booked an Easyhotel near the Hauptbahnhof. And although everything was fine with us there, I booked this hotel for the second night. At exactly the same price. It was not far from the Easyhotel and also not far from the train station, but somewhat in the other direction. There were about 500 meters between the hotels. What was my surprise when I saw the area we were in. 500 meters in Frankfurt matter! The red light district is located next to the hotel. Not like de Wallen in Amsterdam or Reeperbahn in Hamburg, of course, but quite definite. My teenage daughter was very tired and did not pay attention to the signs and pink lights. The worst thing here is the abundance of drug addicts and drug dealers. Both in the evening and in the morning. On departure, we saw the work of the Frankfurt police arresting drug dealers. However, if not for the location, this hotel is quite good. We lived on the top floor. The receptionist was kind, although he could not find our reservation in the mail, but kept looking for a fax (yes, like 15 years ago!). The room is clean and quite comfortable. There are problems with Wi-Fi. I can't understand why?

I would avoid this hotel if possible. I arrived and was placed in a smoking room. I asked to move to a nonsmoking room, and the reception staff said that while they were available, smoking rules are not enforced at the property every room is essentially a smoking room. The smell of smoke is strong everywhere in the hotel.

One morning when I was attempting to leave for the day, the receptionist had stepped away from the desk and had locked the front door, locking all the guests in the hotel until they returned. The rooms are also not particularly clean, with no daily housekeeping, overflowing garbages, and noticeable grime.

So dirty and noisy hotel i ever seen.Very bad experience.All night noisy neighboors they are smoke weed.My room is very dirty i cant sleep and i feel myself unsafe.

Das Personal war extrem frech und unprofessionell, der Chef war extrem gestört und hat uns wegen jeder Frage angeschrien. Als Frau würde ich ihnen dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, der Ort ist gefährlich und unsicher, das Hotel ist voll mit gestörten Menschen

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist noch in Ordnung. Umfeld schwierig: am Wochenende Dauerbeschallung der Straße vor dem Haus und die Straße ist eine Kloake durch die vielen Obdachlosen und Drogenabhängigen. Etwas eigenwilliges Personal. Größe der Zimmer zur Straßenseite sehr geräumig.

Repulsive, dirty + disgusting in every way. Overpriced. Blood on sheets, filthy bathroom, stinking of cigarettes, prostitutes abound + drug addicts lying on pavement outside. The clubs and drug addicts surrounding the hotel are very loud until about 4am - expect relentless psychotic screaming and fights all through your night. You will be able to catch some sleep between 4am-5am before the street sweepers start.

The internet not fast.

Direkt ein Drogenhaus neben dem Hotel, Sauberkeit im Zimmer geht anderst, es waren noch Haare in den Schubladen. Der TV funktionierte im Zimmer nicht, nach Nachfrage an der Rezeption sei niemand zuständig. Kein Hallo oder Tschüss beim Checkin. Einmal und niewieder. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Die 3 Sterne sind wohl gekauft.

Very conveniet location, 3minute walk to main station, right next to the main road, conveniet for food, grocery, and entertainment. The room size is fairly large for a twin bed room.

Hotels is in the red light district, lots of homeless vagrant gather and lying on the street of the hotel.

Jeg syntes at det var et fint ophold. Hotellet var lidt bedre end forventet. Området er ikke pænt, men sådan er området omkring hovedbanen. Hvis man skal på messe er hotellet fint.
Der er god og venlig service.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht, es hat aber alles geklappt.

Heureusement ce n'était que pour une seule nuit!! Hôtel vétuste à notre arrivé, on nous dit qu'on va dormir dans l'hôtel à coté car il y a une fuite d'eau. Personnel gentil. Mais ça sent la clopes, chauffage pas en fonctionnement à notre arrivé !! Quartier au secours !! Prostituée, junkies...

Πολύ κοντά (2 λεπτά) από τον σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό. Στην περίπτωσή μας μια χαρά γιατί είχαμε πρωινή πτήση. Η πιο υποβαθμισμένη περιοχή της πόλης οπότε αν είστε με την οικογένειά σας μην το προτιμήσετε. Αν είστε με φίλους o.k. επειδή είναι όλα κοντά αλλά μην έχετε απαιτήσεις.

The advertising for this place on booking.com and website is extremely misleading. Supposed to be a relaxed traditional townhouse with simple rooms, however the reality is unimaginable! The ‘hotel’ is right in the middle of the red light area of Frankfurt. Surrounded by brothels, drug taking homeless, prostitutes and generally not where you want to spend any time! More worrying, the doors to said hotel are open at night and the ‘receptionist ‘ is more of a bouncer for obvious reasons! And said bouncer is very intimidating when we questioned him about a refund and moving to a hotel in a safer area. The rooms are basic but we wouldn’t have minded if the area was safe. Really you do not want to stay here! I believe they also rent rooms by the hour!

Room I stayed in was small but clean.There was quite a lot of noise from the streets and the rooms are not sound proofed at all.There was a safe in the room but no instructions on how to use it - when I asked about this at reception I was told that they didn't know how to use the safe.It's ok for the price and is in the red light district which is frequented by drunks and homeless junkies who are irritating rather than threatening and the area is well policed.

Für WLAN muss man extra bezahlen, sonst alles ist ok.
