Astoria Hotel

Room was small, especially the bathroom, and noisy because of the air conditioning units from next door.

It was a hotel room only, everything was out dated, bathroom vanity was situated in the bedroom come everything. No were to open your ports or place your toiletries. If you were are larger person you wouldn't get in the shower as the toilet was also in there and the door to the shower wouldn't open. Again had to walk three flights of steps with heavy bags. Older couples this would be impossible as quite step.

Sehr klein mit drei Personen. Kein Schrank, mobiles Klimagerät im Zimmer, Waschbecken im Zimmer weil Bad zu klein. Man muss sich über die Toilette stellen um die Tür zu öffnen/schliessen.

Das Hotel hatte auf jeden Fall das kleinste Zimmer der ganzen Reise. Für 3 Personen und vor allem das Gepäck war das schon eine Herausforderung. Dazu kommt, dass das Zimmer keine eingebaute Klimaanlage hat. Stattdessen steht ein Standgerät mit einem Schlauch nach außen im Zimmer, was den Raum noch kleiner macht. Immerhin ist es so laut, dass man Zug- und Autoverkehr kaum hört. Der Preis entspricht dem Jasper Niveaus, nicht aber dem Zimmer.

WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE. If this is the last hotel room left in Jasper that you can get, do yourself a favour and drive to your next town on your itinerary. This hotel is, by far, the worst room we have ever had by a long way anywhere in the world. Some of the reviews expressed by guests who say they loved the place must be on something very special, fake reviews, surely not. Let me enlighten prospective guests. Tiny room, even tinier bathroom( would fit in a freestanding wardrobe). Bed was rock hard, back destroying. Arrived to checking at 3 pm, the exact answer was “we don’t start checkin until 4pm, come back later.” No advice where to park or where to unload luggage we had to interrogate to get this info. When you get a letter from the family owners in the room that they prefer you to speak to them instead of posting a review the warning bells go off. At over $460cad for the night you expect at least a 3 star, no this is below one. The owners should be paying you to stay here. We are so angry that this hotel gets way with this standard. Tv would work, air conditioning is loud and must be at least 25 years old. No carpets. Towels were threadbare and frayed on ends. Basin won’t fit in bathroom so is next to bed, you have to dry yourself in bedroom as you can’t do it in bathroom space. The walls are paper thin, noise from outside is deafening. You hear everything. Be warned this place is an insult to word hotel. You have been warned..

no me gusto nada del alojamiento. Mucho Calor, ruido, no funcionaban el aire, no me avisaron de que el parking lo pagaban ellos , olor a comida . En fin un desastre!,,,

Un hotel de l'époque, très vétuste, très mal isolé, avec un réceptionniste qui n'a rien à faire là. Dans la chambre, il y a petit frigo sans congélateur. On a eu une chambre assez petite qui donne sur la route. On entendait chaque nuit les gens du bar en bas sur la terrasse jusqu'à minuit, puis les trains cargo qui passent vers 2-3h du matin avec un bruit affreux. Trouvez un autre hotel si vous cherchez du calme et vous voulez être comfortable. Rapport qualité prix est mauvais.
