Overall, we had a lovely stay at the Astoria Hotel in Jasper. Friendly staff, a comfortable room and a great location.
Pros:

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. They kindly looked after our bags when we arrived too early for check-in. We were also lucky enough to receive a room upgrade, which was a nice surprise! The bed was huge and super comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. Jasper is a small town so we were close to everything.

Cons:

The bathroom was quite outdated and could do with a bit of modernising. Lots of noise as there were getting ready for their Halloween event.

Nice place to stay in Jasper, cozy and comfortable.
Pros:

Great location in Jasper, parking is in the general pay lot across the street, but they record your license plate number so you don't have to pay. Close to everything you might need (walkable). Train is right across the street, but room was comfortable and quiet (& clean). Great food choices co-located and next door.

Cons:

No elevator for those that might need one. Not an issue for me

Enjoyed my stay.
Pros:

The location was excellent and parking arrangements worked well. The room was suitably appointed and comfortable. Close to tourist information centre and restaurants.

Cons:

Absence of a lift is a disadvantage and the room layout made opening an oyster type bag difficult.

As I said the hotel was very tired.
Pros:

Room was very old fashioned, hardly any room in the bathroom. v v small.
The air con pipe went out through the window in the bedroom.
Very tired room and hotel. and no lift
Gentleman on reception was very dry, but very helpful.

Decent hotel in downtown
Pros:

I like how the hotel was located in downtown and is connected to restaurants. Even if it wasn't connected to the restaurants I think it was still pretty great. Staff was also nice. The hotel served its purpose but a little bit expensive considering how old the building is and how small our room/bathroom was. It wasn't very loud at night but you can hear people talking and doors closing. We were just looking for a room to stay and rest during the night while we go out and explore during the day. We still got our restful sleep. So overall, our stay was alright.

Cons:

I didn't like that the blinds in our room had a missing piece. It didn't feel like we have our own privacy. On our first night, the AC also didn't feel cool but was better on our second night.
