Breakfast excellent, good choice of hot and cold items, coffee & food all fresh & delicious
Fire alarm going off at 3am and having to exit building for 15 min whilst fire brigade checked out situation (understandable)
I asked for a bath , and I got one
honestly, nothing. I imagine the lack of view would be annoying if i were on a longer stay but for an overnighter the room was perfect.
Great location, nice sized room, friendly staff, close to train
Creaky floorboards
The location was great. The young lady at reception was amazing in her welcoming guests. I felt right at ease with her help. While it felt a little dated, you get what you pay for. I had a special request for a shower rather than a shower over bath as I recently had a right hip replacement some 3 months ago. Thank you to all staff
Vegetables could have cooked for at least another 10 minutes to go with my steak pie..They were just too solid...
Very comfortable single room, nice and warm, kettle,TV,comfy bed,an older hotel but none the worse for it and of course the price with breakfast, can't go wrong
Parking always a problem, local authority needs to address this.Centre hotels need some sort of guest permit for over night stays
Town centre location
Nothing really.
Handy
Noise at night. Drafty windows.
The location could not have been better
Nothing
Central location . A few minutes to train bus and ferry by foot.
Comfortable beds
Spacious clean simple bathroom
Impractically furnished. I had a single room. Perhaps hanging the TV up. Fold down desk. A rod instead of cupboard
A few hooks back door for cost nag etc a d shelf above bed for room key.remote. phone light etc.
Also cleaners airing unused rooms daily
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a great selection of foods and evening meal was delicious.
Our rooms were very hot, far too warm and, understandably, windows couldn't be open. Parking wasn't ideal. We were lucky enough to get the last space below the stairs.
Staff are lovely and very helpful .
Breakfast was amazing, our room was very clean and beds very comfortable lovely bath towels changed daily...
Bar food excellent only negative would be hotel a bit tired looking
Hotelvlooks a bit tired needs some modernisation
