Loved how central the location was, we were at the beginning of an island hopping adventure so being so close to the train and ferry was a huge plus.
The super comfy bed and beautifully laundered white sheets. I did get an upgrade from standard single to a standard twin that had clearly been renovated recently but judging by the size a recently renovated single would also have been a good size 👍
The hallways would benefit from upgrading but nothing to really dislike
The hotel is central and only minutes walk from all transport links. It is clean and comfortable. Needs a refurb but excellent place to stay.
Staff are all friendly and very helpful.
I loved this hotel. Those who prefer LED lights, airconditioning, automatic doors etc may find it obsolete, but i find it cute vintage/retro :) beautiful old staircase, squeaky floors, lots of woodwork, charming decor. The room was very comfy and spacious, huge bed, super clean, tea/coffee facilities, bathroom immaculately clean (kudos for magnifying glass sticker for makeup:) ). Breakfast ok, quite a selection.

Breakfast was the best…all good I would stay again, and will recommend it to my friends could do with a few comfy chairs in lounge.

Great location just a couple of minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Lovely rooms and a decent breakfast too.
The location is fabulous for exploring the town. The hotel is very good value for money and the breakfast was all fresh and very good quality.
The hotel decor is a little bit tired, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot, so overall happy.
