One thing can ruin a stay
Pros:

The hotel was nice. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

One thing can throw off entire stay. Met family up there. 2 rooms for one reason that we stayed here. The pool has a handicap lift for my sister. Problem is lift hasn't worked for an entire year. As told to us by the manager. Only reason we chose this hotel over others.

I found the front desk staff to be extremely helpful and nice. For that reason alone I would stay again.

Would stay again
Pros:

I liked most everything. You're right down the street from Walmart and across from a Piggly Wiggly and a McDonald's. Warm water in shower, instant hot.... love love love. A/c get cold... love that too.
It's relatively quiet. The beds were softer than i like, but still comfortable.

Cons:

No elevator, but i knew that in advance. Pool area was small and strong chemical smell (needs more ventilation). Bookings didn't tell me there would be an incidental charge on a credit card.
Coffee in lobby wasn't fresh in the evening. Rooms seemed small, but i think it was the large furniture.

Pros:

Cozy. Comfortable. Reasonable price. Hot tub. Close to downtown Galena.

Cons:

No hot food available other than pizza. Pool water too cold.
