The black spot on my holiday.

Cons:

The noise kept me awake until midnight and then woke me up again at 6 a.m., despite my respectful complaints to the staff. What is particularly disappointing is how little the staff seemed to care and how nothing was done to properly address the issue. Instead, I received different explanations and excuses from different members of staff.

I was initially promised a refund for one night, only to be offered, five minutes later, a “gift” from the hotel shop worth around $5, for a room that costs approximately $300 per night. This felt extremely dismissive and showed a complete lack of understanding of the seriousness of the situation.

To make matters worse, when I returned to the hotel, I found that my room had not been cleaned because the hotel had apparently not scheduled enough staff. I fail to see why I should have to accept the consequences of the hotel’s poor operational management.

Overall, the noise, the lack of an appropriate response from the staff, the contradictory explanations, and the failure to clean the room have made this stay extremely disappointing and certainly not what I would expect from a hotel charging $300 per night.

Bon hôtel avec chambre spacieuses et confortables
Pros:

Hotel idéalement situé, pour moi qui voulais visiter Montpelier, Stowe, Burlington et le lac Champlain. L'hôtel se trouve en plein milieu.

Personnel à la réception très professionnel

Cons:

Photographe pour le site très doué : en réalité la piscine est minuscule.
Impossible de rester plus de 3 minutes dans le jacuzzi : il fait tellement de mousse (d'où vient-elle?) qu'ensuite il y a risque de débordement dans la piscine, il me semble. Le couple qui y était en même temps que moi m'a dit l'avoir signalé à la réception, sans changement.
