È funzionale, il check in avviene un po' tardi ore 17.00, fino a quell'ora è chiuso. Le camere sono funzionali e comode. Wifi veloce. È davanti a stazione, quindi comodo per treno. Molti parcheggi per auto. Il luogo non è granche', abbiamo fatto 8 km A/R per trovare una creperie, quella a 50 m era chiusa e non ci sono ristoranti decenti nei dintorni. L'unico supernercato, molto fornito, è a 700 m. Modane è davvero desolante

À déconseiller, clefs ds une boite qui n’ouvrait pas. Une personne est arrivée pour régler le problème, tres désagréable…

Very convenient place to stay if needing to travel through the Fryeus tunnel.

The rooms are neat and clean, with lift to help with luggage etc to higher floors. Ideal for a short stay. Conveniently situated on the single high street which is quiet at night. Ideal for those headed from or heading to the Frejus tunnel (into Italy) which is literally a five minute drive away.
Once patron was contacted (by phone), a code was given which allowed entry. As Modane is primarily a winter resort, and we were passing through in June,we found many of the restaurants/bars closed at this time but there was a pizzeria open for the hungry traveller.

Did the job for a one night stay with my 8 year old to access the skiing at Val Thorens via Orelle. Room was no frills and clean.

Hôtel situé juste en face de la gare ce qui est très pratique. J'avais une petite chambre mais très belle vue sur les montagnes La chambre etait tres propre et plutôt confortable. Par contre le sèche-cheveux ne fonctionnait pas. Bien embêtant. Et pas de café, thé avec la bouilloire ???. Mais le petit-déjeuner buffet était de très bonne qualité avec beaufort de la région excellent, jambon cru, yaourts, fruits frais et bon pain. Le personnel est également très agréable.

Un bémol pour le petit déjeuner qui n'est pas à la hauteur du tarif.
