Was a good location.
We could not stay the night and were refused a refund. The bathroom was disgusting. The floor was filthy, the shower, shower seal and ceiling was covered in black mould. The towel rail was very rusty. The wallpaper was ripped in several places in the room. There was a hole in the ceiling in the room from what appeared to be water damage. The bedding was stained and the whole room was generally dirty. There were no staff to complain to so we had no choice but to leave it was nothing like the pictures on Booking.com
De ligging is top, en voor 5 pond per dag kun je erbij parkeren. Personeel
Was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Hotel is leuk maar verouderd. Kan een upgrade gebruiken maar goed dan wordt het ook flink duurder.
De geur van afvoer en oude vloerbedekking
Location
The fact there wasnt hot water throughout the day it was set times for hot water between 0600-0900 & then 1600-2100
Room damp had to leave the building to get a hot drink no plug in sink fan noisy bed very uncomfortable stayed here 2 years ago and it was fine now catering for stag and hen dos should not be advertised for an older couple
Any of it
The only good thing is that the hotel is close to center and beach!
Very disappointing stay – not worth £620
We paid £620 for two nights for six people, including a 10-month-old baby, and unfortunately the cleanliness and service were completely unacceptable.
The carpet was covered in hair, there was dirt and rubbish under the beds, and the bathroom was very dirty. The extractor fan was covered in dust and grime, while the windows were dirty and surrounded by cobwebs. The bunk beds were also extremely noisy and creaked with every movement.
When we checked in, we tried to speak to the owner, but he was no longer at the property, and we were unable to contact him during our stay. During the three days we were there, the towels were not changed, the bins were not emptied, and no cleaning service was provided.
For six guests, we were given only two tiny 10 ml shower gels and one very small hotel soap. The television remote control also had only one battery, so it could not be used properly.
Considering the amount we paid, we expected a clean, comfortable room and basic customer service. The only certificates displayed at the entrance were a TripAdvisor review from 2017 and a food hygiene rating from 2022.
I would not recommend this hotel, especially to families with young children.
Nothing
The room very dirty The white bed sheets were dirty, and the room was not properly cleaned.
The staff were not available when needed.
I asked for a towel, but I was not given one.
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience from the moment we arrived.
Before our stay, the owner agreed by email to move our booking to a different weekend. At no point did he mention that there would be an additional charge. However, on arrival, despite us having already paid in full through Booking.com, he accused us of not paying and demanded almost £110 extra. We felt put under pressure after travelling, and this was a very unpleasant way to begin our stay.
The owner also repeatedly involved us in his payment dispute with Booking.com. He asked us to call Booking.com to have his payment released, which we did as a goodwill gesture even though it was not our responsibility. The following morning at breakfast, he approached us again, complained that he still hadn’t received his payment, and expected us to contact Booking.com again. Guests should not be made responsible for resolving payment issues between a property and Booking.com.
The accommodation itself was also disappointing. The entire property had a strong musty, damp smell. We found visible black mould on the bathroom ceiling and around the bath sealant, and the mattress protector had multiple brown stains, including a large stain near the head of the bed. These issues made us question the overall cleanliness of the room.
Breakfast was very basic and limited. There were no cooked options such as eggs or sausages, only a small selection of cold items such as ham, cheese and pastries. It did not meet our expectations based on the price we paid.
Overall, the combination of the owner’s attitude, the attempted extra charge, being drawn into the property’s payment issues, and the cleanliness concerns meant this was not an enjoyable stay. I hope these issues are addressed so that future guests have a better experience.
Not a lot.
Girl at reception was ok.
Smelly throughout. Dark, damp and dreary. We didn't stay and left immediately to find other accommodation. Please avoid this so called hotel if you value your health.
Great location, family run business, very clean
The staff could have been more welcoming and friendly (young ladies), older chap was super helpful and friendly.
Todo en general...
Poca presión agua en la ducha y un poco de calor en la habitación.
The location is good.
No parking when we arrived, blocked toilet, very uncomfortable mattress, dirty bed covers my daughter used a towel.
Also no one at reception.
Great location. Lovely tea and coffee lounge.
Dirty room, lots of cobwebs, spiders and moths.
Beds hadn’t been changed. I told reception and they had clean sheets put on.
