Check in was very good, very friendly staff,
Room was average decor looks tired,
The Room we were in bed wasn't very comfortable, in comparison the beds we have slept in previously at the same hotel.

We had Room 1 which can only be described as needing a complete makeover. Admittedly we didn’t pay a fortune but furniture was chipped& shabby, carpet dirty and damaged, room smelt of smoke, bath panel broken and shower head full of mould. Was very disappointed. Our friends had another room which was lovely that they had paid more for but we took what was the only room available at the time of booking.

Cozy quiet rooms. Hot clean showers. Slept like a log. Easy access to venue down the road. Lovely cozy bar and restaurant area. Friendly staff.

Good value for money. Nothing exceptional.

This was a last minute stop over. Great food and fantastic value for money. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean and comfortable. Yes a little warm but like I said wasn’t overpriced so was very happy. The pub and function rooms look fantastic so would definitely recommend a stay or even just to stop for food.

We are extremely disappointed at our stay last night for the amount of money we paid the environment was unkempt the surrounding areas before arriving to our room gave us a good indication of what we was about to expect the carpets had not been vacuumed there was thick dust everywhere the fan in the bathroom was broken so each time we used the bathroom there was an horrendous noise The bin in the bedroom was filty the walls had stains splatterd on my partners pillow case had stains the room and hotel was very tired and unkempt i can forward photographs if needed

We spent 2 nights at The Vicarage - very pleasant experience. Friendly welcome very informative. Good choice at Breakfast - nothing too much trouble. Did not have evening menu as was visiting family in the area. Rooms reasonable size - also bathroom - shower could have been better - internet not great but overall very good stay - would return.

The staff were helpful and genuinely nice, especially at breakfast! The room was not value for money, in my opinion, and breakfast was an extra cost when we booked through Expedia.

There is a significant mismatch between the social media photos of this property and rooms and the reality. The bathroom in our room
Was particularly poor- mould around the bath, rust all over the bin, marks on the door and generally a very low standard. Marks on the walls in the bedroom, random hangers in the wardrobe…felt very budget and yet, far from a budget price. The outside eating areas are overlooking the car parks and by a very noisy road. Really disappointing. The staff however were lovely and extremely helpful.

Basic. Staff never responded to send me the invoice. Communications are not great

When we got there, there was no staff food was absolutely terrible. A group of 15 of us and not one of us had a decent meal

A bit of a mixed stay . Room comfortable and bedding comfortable however the room we were in had a damp issue and the corner of the room had bubbling wallpaper .

One night stay for a local wedding. Friendly, helpful staff. Smartly decorated room. Delicious breakfast. Weren’t there long but was very pleasant and would recommend.
