Agua Hotels Vila Branca

Excellent location, fortunate to be on ground floor of three storey complex, overlooking pool. We had a clean two bedroom apartment each with ensuite bathroom and one two piece bathroom. A crib was provided for the baby. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant at breakfast were very nice. Breakfast was good for 11.5 Euros. It is a 12 minute drive to really nice beach. The unit came with a complete kitchen, stove, fridge, washer, dryer, coffee maker, toaster, wall oven.Nice small patio in the back. Very close 3 minute walk to supermarket. We had a very nice comfortable stay and recommend it very much.

We had some minor issues: The garbage bin in kitchen was completely broken so garbage was visible and smell going into the kitchen, safe was locked when it should have been open. Door to small bathroom was off the hinge and wasn’t closing and sticking out into the walkway when entering or leaving the apartment. These should have been reported by the cleaners who came to prepare the unit for our arrival and fixed, but were not. We reported these on arrival and on each of the three days we were there. The lady at the reception filled in a form in front of us but nothing was fixed until the day when we were preparing to leave. All of the days we were there we had to carry our passports on us instead of placing them in the safe. There is no working process between staff reporting issues before the client checks in or even after the client reports the issues to get them fixed.

Great very clean large modern self catering apartments. We paid for breakfast too which was continental with eggs, bacon, beans and small sausages. There was also a selection of bread, ham etc and pasties. There is a construction site next door but we barely heard it.
Its a bit of a walk into town to the restaurants but you can easily use bolt. It took about 20 mins to the start of the old town and 35 yo the marina.
Customer service at the hotel us outstanding by all staff and Diva on reception was really helpful.
Was really happy with out stay however some minor points - the lighting in the bedroom is too bright with no dim setting or bedside lights. There was also no cushions on the sofa which made it quite uncomfortable to sit on. One last point is that the only cups and glasses in the cupboards were very tiny by UK standards

We spent a lovely week here at the end of Sept through Easyjet Holudays and we had a fantastic time with great weather.

The 2 bed apartment was spacious and immaculate with 2 bathrooms (one ensuite) and a good sized table and sitting area although 2 sofa would be good . It had a proper kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, enough cutlery/plates/cooking equipment) and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool.

The pool had plenty of loungers (due to out of season, I guess) and you could get drinks etc from the bar. The pool was nice albeit a tad cold. There is a second pool that we didn't use.

There is a restaurant that we ate at a few times (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and the food was good. Otherwise we made our own/ate elsewhere.

All the staff were lovely and helpful.
The location was quiet and about a 30 mins walk away from the marina. We did hire a car from Lagorent so we could explore other places in the area. We found Uber reasonable for the couple of times we used it.

The pool was clean. I prefer a warmer pool, I found the water too cold for me.

Incredible hotel! Thank you so much !! We were SO pleasantly suprised & had the best time at Vilabranca! Lovely breakfast - the best pastries, a great variety of cooked & continental. Very friendly staff. Gorgeous pool - luxe sun beds (plenty of them) with lovely aesthetics. The whole place definitely had an elevated feel, so green & pretty. Very helpful reception desk - you could hire hairdryer & iron - not always available. Rooms were very spacious and could not fault. Would definitely recommend this hotel - such good value for money. Location great too - convenient supermarket nearby for snacks, water, wine. Less than half an hour walk into Lagos & bolts are cheap too!

A little away from the main center of Lagos. Needed to walk about 15-20 minutes to the center.

Fabulous choice if you’re seeking comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. The rooms are spotless and modern, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the shuttle makes exploration easy. Whether you’re walking to nearby beaches or picking up snacks from the supermarket across the street, everything feels thoughtfully within reach. Plus, the dining is tasty and well-priced—especially the breakfast. Our stay couldn’t have been better.

Staffs were friendly and nice, rooms are clean and comfortable but the wine glasses and coffee cups were too small. Also there was ants constantly trying to hunt food in room. Also we chose halfboard but not much food kids would eat.

The room was large and comfortable for 5 people with a good sized deck. Centrally located with beaches and old town being 15-18 minutes walking and the marina 5 more. We opted for the morning breakfast and happy we did so. A relaxed low key vibe around the pool when we weren’t at the beach or exploring. The front desk staff were friendly and always accessible to answer questions or concerns.

We LOVED Agua hotels. It was a spacious clean site and was really peaceful and is for sure a five star hotel. We really enjoyed the pool because it was big, fun and had lots of loungers and relaxing spaces. The breakfast buffet was amazing; it has lots of delicious choices so there is something for everyone. Great staff at reception as well as cleaners who clean each room every day. Everything was at a very high standard and can really recommend for a holiday location. Thank you for having us at Agua hotels and we would happily return.

Our appartment was spacious and beds were comfortable. There are a/c units in every room and that made our stay pleasant. There’s a decent buffet breakfast at the restaurant but the unit has a huge kitchen to prepare your own food. We didn’t cook as there are many different restaurants nearby. There’s a market across the street and a bakery as well as a coffee shop within 5 minutes walk. The beaches are about 15-20 minutes walk. I gave it 3 stars because of the cleanliness or lack of. Our patio was dirty and the sun bed was covered in bird poop as well as the walls. The room was also dusty especially in the corners and under the beds. I think for the nighty price of close to $400, the resort staff needs to improve on cleaning procedures. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place to stay in Lagos. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Reception staff were “short”, rude and impatient. I do not speak the language, and when I asked for clarification, they always appeared put off. Pool was dirty, shuttle only ran briefly, no instructions to work appliances. Will not stay again.

We’ve just returned from one week at Vila Branca and can’t fault it! 5 of us staying in a two bedroom apartment was extremely spacious. The room and surrounds including bar were clean with friendly staff on site.
Would definitely return!

Great place, great location. Grocery store right on the corner. We did not get the apartment advertised, the sofa bed was really small single so too small for our 16 year old. Pillows are not pillows, uncomfortable. Didn’t have little touches like salt and pepper and a cloth to wash down counters after making breakfast. You have to ask for the pool towels. But overall this was an amazing place to stay, almost perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at Agua Hotels Vila Branca. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, ground floor apartment with a pool view which was spacious, very clean and had excellent air conditioning and amenities. We would have appreciate a few small food items in the fridge on arrival, but we quickly found the local supermarket for all of our daily essentials. The hotel pool was excellent and well maintained and we made extensive use of it throughout our stay. There was a family of seagulls with young chicks which were at one end of the pool. While they were entertaining, they were also occasionally aggressive towards swimmers and also made a mess around the edge of the pool. I'm not sure what could be done about this, but it did present an issue worth mentioning here. The pool bar was also not open as often as we would have liked-perhaps the opening times could be more clearly posted. We ate on 2 occasions at Da Vila restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. The food quality and choice on offer was very good, but the service for dinner (while always friendly) was slow. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our week at Agua Hotels Vila Branca and hope to return sometime in the future. We will also recommend Agua Hotels Vila Branca to family and friends who are looking for good quality apartment hotel accomodation in Lagos. Thankyou!

Nice place

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean and spacious as there were 2. Food was great! Both breakfast and dinners..
Maid service was spot on.. best thing was the large outside patio with not only a table and chairs but also loungers and a clothes rack for drying your clothes.

Me and my girls stayed here in the middle of our backpacking trip. it was such a great price for everything we got. The staff was so friendly and the amenities were great! Would highly recommend this place!!
