My experience here was very good
We just arrived at the Hampton Inn and suites here in Tallahassee of I 10 Thomasville Rd. and a gentleman named Mr. Jeffrey at the lobbylobby. Desk has been 100% and then some… helpful with accommodating our Niceville Lady Eagles Flag Football team… getting our rooms issued to us even before the 3 PM mark… and providing snacks and water to the players as they are waiting to get in their hotel rooms. Those far we have had an amazing experience of hospitality. 10/10
Housekeeping staff member Keith was absolutely the most professional, friendly staff I’ve met in a long time! His care shown when servicing our room was exceptional. A spot was noticed on one of the top bed covers and he immediately changed it because that was unacceptable!! This atmosphere made our stay excellent!!
We are non-smokers and 6 hrs. after checkout we received additional bill of $250 smoking fee plus all local taxes. 3 calls to hotel manager went unreturned. 3 calls to Hilton services who contacted hotel and asked they contact us not acknowledged. On final call with Hilton, hotel claimed verbally that they had contacted me on day after stay and that the reason for charge was they smelled smoke in the room. BS!!
This is too bad. I am a long term Hilton Honors member and Hampton Inn is our go to choice when traveling. This location convenient for our regular trips to TX but obviously we won't be back to this one.

My room smelled like animals. Guy at desk offered a can of febreeze. But this room needs a deep clean. Person at desk said all rooms like that. They spray breeze and aeresol. This is not ok
Friendly staff.
Refrigerator was not working when we arrived. Staff temporarily replaced it with an oversize model placed in middle of room. Toilet intermittently would not flush, which was especially bad because I was staying here for colonoscopy prep and needed toilet many times. The room was dark, with no way to open shades to let in natural light. A microwave would have been appreciated.
Lori at the front desk is THE BEST! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She was friendly, hospitable, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
Quick overnight stop. Little older, but had everything we needed w/breakfast. Jamal and Jeffrey friendly service!
