Charmin cottage style inn
Pros:

The location is very convenient, close to all restaurants and shops. The beds are very comfortable, clean comfortable rooms and the staff members are very attentive and friendly.

Cons:

Parking is very limited; neighborhood residents will park in hotel parking, making it even more limited. This is not a fault of the hotel itself but of inconsiderate neighbors and a city-wide problem.

Pretty good for the price.
Pros:

Close to shopping and only 15 min walk to beach. Very clean. Helpful staff. Chairs on patio to sit outside. Good coffee machine in office. Comfy bed and pillows.

Cons:

Noisy street nearby. Breakfast was just ok. Not always easy to get a parking spot. Room was small.

Typical Carmel motel. Fine, but far from upscale.
Pros:

Location, comfortable.

Cons:

Most accommodations in Carmel are a bit disappointing, and this fit into that realm. It’s fine, but it’s just a motel. And our room was in a funky location down a short hall right next to the housekeeping closet, so housekeeping activity could be heard.

Great place to stay, clean & the outside landscape was kept up, and felt peaceful.
Pros:

The location is great, we like to walk, and it’s like starting at the beginning of a trail to the end of the strip, & then back up again.

Cons:

There was nothing to complain about. It was an over all great experience. I would stay at the Comfort Inn again.

Doesn't feel like Comfort Inn it felt more like a cottage. Loved the room, food and staff.
Pros:

It is such a cool cottage style hotel. Loved how clean the room is. The breakfast was really really good. They have and espresso machine that make such delicious coffee. The staff is all really nice. We will be back.

Cons:

Parking is a bit tight but we got parking with no problem.

Pros:

The location is ideal close to the main street, and its restaurants and shop, and walking to the awesome Carmel beach or everywhere, it is also close to the Bruno supermarket if you want to pickup a sandwich (long line but really good) for a hike, which we did on Sunday before leaving. The staff was really nice. The room was really clean and functional.

The walls are a little thin.
