Very lovely place, so green and peaceful. State of the art service ! The kindest people here at Wapa di Ume, great food (both western and asian and indonesian), very beautiful and super clean room. The pools, especially the infinity pool, are gorgeous. Shuttle service to Ubud center easy and reliable. Everything was so great for such a good price. We will be back !

We really enjoyed our time at the resort and wished we could have stayed longer than 2 days! The facilities are lovely, and we got to enjoy traditional Balinesian dance. All of the staff was so attentive and friendly, we can't remember every name but we appreciate Dewa, Juli, and Koming and everyone.
We've stayed here a few times & it never dissappoints. The rooms are clean, although in need of a few repairs/refurbishment in places.

The views are wonderful & the hotel actually has some moderate facilities (gym, spa, pool, etc.) but they could all do with improving.
The breakfasts are always excellent.
Rather strangly, they've changed their dinner menu to be more western & the food was bland & poor. Shame, because their breakfasts & local cuisine have always been excellent.

Traditionally tranquil in the midst of rice paddies and natural surroundings, only a short distance from Ubud's town centre. Excellent service from all staff! Rooms are clean and serviced twice daily. Restaurant offers excellent breakfast choices and traditional Indonesian and Balinese favourites! Thoroughly recommended and would definitely return!
Absolutely loved my stay! the location is just a little bit away from central ubud which is good bc it’s not noisy or loud. the room was so spacious and CLEAN, which I appreciate. loved having complimentary breakfast bc it really helped me start my mornings. didn’t use the pool but there were two different pools which were cool. I also really enjoyed the laundry service, helped saved me so much time. wish i used the spa tho! the absolute best part were the staff, they were so kind and accommodating, the best hospitality honestly.

Good stay in ubud for family and not only
Wapa di Ume has a rare kind of magic. It doesn’t lean into the ultra-polished, Instagram-perfect aesthetic that so many modern hotels strive for - and that’s exactly its charm. Instead, it offers old-world elegance, warmth, and a sense of timeless comfort that feels increasingly hard to find.
The property is really beautiful, but in a grounded, authentic way, and felt like an oasis tucked gently into Ubud - peaceful, intimate, and very relaxing.
The service was excellent throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly charming, attentive, and gracious. We were generously upgraded to a suite, which was very much appreciated and made the experience even more special and we even had a flower bath waiting for us upon arrival as well as welcome home in flowers on our bed.
If you’re looking for somewhere with heart, character, and genuine Balinese hospitality rather than glossy perfection, Wapa di Ume is a wonderful choice.
We really enjoyed our stay at Wapa di Ume in Ubud. I would like to thank all the staff for their attention and for creating a family style atmosphere. We really loved the hotel's restaurant where we ate most of the times - there were plenty of dishes we were curious to taste, and all of them were deliscious. Breakfast was also great, with a plenty of choice, so that every morning we tried different options. The hotel is immersed in greenery, it's very quiet the air is filled with flower scents and birds singing. Our room was very spacious ans we appreciated our bathroom not being an-open air space, so we didn't have any problems with insects. The SPA at the hotel was great too! I would definately retun to this place, and I will be recommending it to my friends!

We had the most wonderful experience at the hotel, everything was perfect, just far enough out of ubud to experience calm and beauty but easy access either walking or a grab to ubud. We didn't want to leave, they made us feel so much at home surrounded by the most beautiful setting. The staff are first class and cleanliness is perfect.The Lani room was a fantastic size with a lovely terrace with a view over the rice field. There are 3 stunning pools and 2 great restaurants and a fantastic Gym and spa. If you want to experience a Balinese welcoming hotel please stay here you won't regret it. 😊
