Welcoming staff, except valet could not drive stick shift, so I had to park. Rates are 60$ overnight. Hotel lobby staff efficient. Offers a hot breakfast daily (added value) Did not receive maid service, nor were our towels exchanged until we called front desk to arrange.
The worst hampton inn we have ever stayed at. We only stay at Hampton’s because we wanted consistency with quality that we expect. I requested room service on the chat feature which we have used many times at other Hamptons. No response. We let the front desk know in person and learned that you allegedly have to request room service in person every day from the rude staff. I had told them in a calm voice we hadn’t received room service in 3 days and they acted like it was our fault even though this was never explained to us when we checked in. After the conversation in which they gas lighted and took zero ownership for we waited by the elevator to go to our room and overheard the lady making fun of us for bringing up that we didn’t get room service for 3 days. Allegedly the rude staff that I don’t trust at all claimed they also don’t have digital key and they aren’t in charge of the system which flies in the face of every other hampton inn we have ever stayed at. The staffed needs to be trained better on making sure guests are told what their hotel offers and they need to be respectful at the very least. We treated them with respect and didn’t argue with them at all. That was my first interaction with that front desk staff.
Stayed here for a conference and it was the perfect fit for me. Friendly staff, clean room with all the accommodations that I needed. It was very close to the conference center and I was able to find nearby parking (although the hotel does offer a parking service)

This hotel is about 0.3 miles away from the metro station at Chinatown. The walk is safe and travels via Metro is economical and fast. The breakfast is a plus for staying at the Hampton Inn, and I greatly appreciate the coffee and tea choices in the lobby throughout the day. The room is clean, and the bed and blanket are comfortable. A mini fridge, microwave, and safe are also provided. The bathroom is spacious, but it has no ventilation. The shower drains very slowly, and the faucet doesn’t turn off when the shower head is on. This Hampton Inn is connected to an apartment building. A garbage truck seems to come every morning and continuously woke me up early in the morning each day.
The bath linene were hard, unkept and did not have a smell or feel of freshness. The bathroom had a musty odor.

Quick and easy check-in by a courteous and friendly gentleman at the front desk. We arrived at the hotel earlier than check-in time but were allowed to head to our room. This was greatly appreciated after our long travels.
Clean room but bathroom door was swollen and didn’t close without force.
During our stay, Housekeeping missed cleaning our room so we needed to request clean towels and toilet paper when leaving the hotel in the morning. But, these were provided when we returned to our room in the afternoon
Breakfast was good and I appreciated the breakfast staff for their attentiveness to ensure that the guests were taken care of.
Overall, the hotel staff were professional in their interactions and making sure that the needs of their guests were met.
The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good for a Hampton. One of the elevators broke down on our 2nd day and it may it difficult to get an elevator down or up. The air conditioning unit in our room was extremely loud. The plugs on the night stand wouldn’t work. It’s a older hotel but overall it was ok.
The breakfast and location is the best thing about this hotel. The hotel is very old and they have updated but our air conditioning unit was so loud and one elevator went down and it took forever to get an elevator. It was a very clean hotel. The valet parking is expensive as well.
The noise from the street was quite something, I think the hotel can help to do something.
Nice hotel. Close to the convention center as in 5-6 min. walk from the hotel. Some nice restaurants near by.

Close to the national mall. Need to have better ways to deal with the noise from the traffic.

Room was great, but somehow I kept sneezing. I am allergic to feather down. There are two pillows that are not feather down & used those. I’m not sure if the mattress pad are down or the blanket, if so, please make it down free. 10% of the population are allergic to down.
