Hotel stay just off Istiklal
Pros:

Good value as I booked last minute and received a discount.
Convenient location for exploring the area.
Breakfast was decent and a plate was prepared each morning, which was appreciated.
Staff were generally polite.

Cons:

Very noisy at night due to a nearby club, which made sleeping difficult.
Wi-Fi was extremely weak and almost never worked, so I had to rely on mobile data most of the time despite trying several of the available networks.
A confusing housekeeping incident where my toiletries were placed inside the bedding during cleaning, which made me think they had gone missing and caused some stress while trying to locate them.
The room felt quite small.

No sleep from disco right in front of hotel
Cons:

I'm really not that picky when it comes to hotels and we're usually always on a budget, so this is not my first budget hotel and I know what to expect. However, our experience was awful. We could not sleep at all due to the disco music from the disco/bar on the street. The music did not stop until 4 or 5 a.m. and the windows are too thin, you can hear the bass of the music the whole night. We stayed in room 401 and just be aware that all rooms ending with 01 will face the street side. We booked with breakfast but we could never wake up to even eat breakfast because we couldn't sleep all night. We left the hotel already after 3 nights (out of 7) because otherwise we would not be able to enjoy Istanbul.

Pros:

They were very hospitable and friendly, they helped us in our inquiries and they offered us free coffee and tea while waiting for our transfer to the airport. That's what hospitality is about!!!

A very good choice for istanbul
Pros:

Very clean and decent hotel.. Staff was polite, wifi was strong, air-condition was great, bed was very comfy and toilet was modern. Immediately had hot water.

Cons:

There is a noise from the clubs outside but nothing you can't bear. It didn't prevent my sleep.

Pros:

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im West Palace Hotel. Das gesamte Personal war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Ismayil Abi er war sehr nett, immer bereit zu helfen und einfach ein großartiger Mensch.
Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Man kann von dort aus problemlos überall hinkommen, egal ob mit der Bahn, dem Bus oder zu Fuß. Alles ist gut erreichbar.
Das Frühstück war ebenfalls in Ordnung und ausreichend.
Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Pros:

West Palace definitely exceeded my expectations. We booked the room with a view of the Bosphorus, a wonderful outlook to wake up to each day for our stay in Istanbul. The hotel is well situated, close to main shopping areas and transport. Our hosts were delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed the included delicious breakfast.
