This was my second visit to the property after a pleasant stay in 2024 with a group of 21 people. Unfortunately, this time the experience was extremely disappointing, and I would neither visit again nor recommend it to others.
I had booked through Booking.com and paid via their secure link, receiving confirmation from both my bank and the website. However, during checkout the manager created a ruckus, questioning the payment despite my bank statement and Booking.com executive confirming it on loudspeaker as already paid. Even they received a printed confirmation infront of me from booking.com. He raised his voice, made rude comments about being fraud, and claimed the hotel would never receive the money from crap site like booking.com now!! They wanted me to pay again to them!!!
It took nearly an hour to resolve, and the Manager continued making rude, unethical remarks until we left. Please mind the following before booking this property;
1) Very basic breakfast with no variation. Lumped upma, hard idli with chutney, bread with literally melted butter like water to save cost, scraps of omlette with tea/coffee/juice for a charge of Rs. 200/head.
2) Apart from 2 rooms, all rooms have twin beds only. They are not comfortable and specially for family with even a single child.
3) No room service. Can order through Zomato or Swiggy. Kitchen can only serve if prior notice that too depends on items available.
4) Overly charge if it is directly booked like around 4k stating it's a suite room. It's not suite but a bigger room with sofa. Online prices are cheaper.
Such bad people ruins the complete experience of a peaceful stay.
The property itself... the ambiance, location and the staff. The facility is so calm, rich in its elegance and very good staff. Every point is maintained very well.
Although the properly is highly rich in heritage values, the facility inside the room is not as par with the pricing. All rooms have twin beds only with very small cots. This is major setback when couples stay here. Also a kettle and coffee/tea facility will be a plus.
Limited Breakfast, but very good quality. Great Experience, could not be more satisfied. Rooms were spacious, and very accommodating and friendly staff. Limited food options are not an issue, since any restaurant will deliver to your room.
Slightly noisy with the open ground next to our room. There are no views to speak of, but that's okay really, for the price and comfort.
Only the Deluxe rooms are good.
The tables were dirty and when we asked for Tea at 7 AM in the morning, their cook then headed out to bring Milk, so technically, they dont epxect people to wake up early adn ask for food. Location doesnt have good view. Breakfast timing is 9AM. Not recomendable for family outing.

There is no food available except an awful breakfast. Request for food were not acceded to by the staff.
They do not accept debit or credit cards.
