This was a nice hotel, room was pretty.
Breakfast included and adequate.
The gym was small which is fine but needed a deep clean and was not appealing. The other downside was plastic cutlery and glasses at breakfast and in room. Doors to rooms had gaps in so nose was a small issue, and did not always lock when closed, could have been worse if the hotel was full which it wasn’t.
Staff friendly, lovely dog at reception.
Great location close to the town.
We stayed in a room that offered us a ground floor patio right next to our room. It was such a beautiful weekend that we were able to sit outside and relax, before heading to dinner. We didn’t realize there was a bar and eating area. We got to try that this time and we really enjoyed the free drink, and atmosphere of the bar area!
Stayed this past weekend. This was my second time there, also this time of year last year. Great place. Rooms are clean, beautiful, and mine was BIG! I was there on a Sunday evening, so the bar wasn't open for business, but the room itself was open and no one bothered me as I cracked my laptop open to do some work. (There are also chairs and tables in the lounge but I find those uncomfortable). Free popcorn! Also 24 hour free coffee and tea. Walking distance to anything in the village. Nice, small breakfast but fresher than what you find at chain places. Staff was very nice, answered all my questions. Last year I was offered a glass of champagne on check-in as a "first timer!" Very cool. They offer a 10% discount off in-season prices to repeat customers. I was there off-season and couldn't have found a better rate anywhere else so I understand why they only offer the discount in-season. Quirky cute hotel, the elevator is adorable!
This is our third visit to the Acadia Hotel. We always come here on the off-season. Price is very reasonable and it’s right in town so everything is accessible. There are very few tourists here, but there are enough restaurants open in the off-season to enjoy some variety. This hotel is very comfortable and provides a lot of amenities, but no movie channels in the bedroom just TV stations otherwise it’s great.
The room was clean and well kept. Super cozy. The property was on a great spot, near everything and there was on site parking at no additional cost. Daniel was the best!! My boyfriend and I arrived around midnight so I called ahead of time and not only did Daniel wait for us but gave us a quick tour, helped us with our bags and greeted us with champagne!
Location
Staff unfriendly and room too small for 2 people. Only 1 chair I. A dark gloomy room. Small dresser & closet
The hotel location very convenient to the shops and restaurants. We felt safe walk around the area. We didn’t stay much in the room. The room is clean and efficient.
The breakfast options were limited. The bathroom size a small.
Location
I thought the breakfast was just right for what we needed. Having both hot and iced coffee was great. The ice situation was weird with the ice machine being on the other side of the hotel and no I e near the cold coffee station.
The location was priceless, and the rooms were very nice.
Only thing I would say was the pillows could use an upgrade, and the water pressure was not great in the shower. Everything else was wonderful.
We like the feel of a smaller inn-like hotel. This met our expectations.
Nothing
Location was perfect. Close to stores and restaurants. Nice porch at hotel for morning coffee or evening glass of wine.
The location was the best! The amenities were a big plus as well. The ice water and coffee out at all times was nice as well as the breakfast.
The location was great..
Facility parking lot was to small.. anything bigger than a compact car good luck parking!! Also, room 306, needs small refrigerator elevated so you can open the door fully without scraping the carpet.
All the small touches and amenities. Great staff. Well appointed facilities.
The locks on the door were not reliable and the staff was not sure how the locks worked.
When shutting the door sometimes the door locked on its own and sometimes not.
Location is great
Sheets were not white clean, Apartment seemed quite rundown. Breakfast was subpar, Gym was in bad shape. Poorly maintained and not pristine.
The location.
