Poor gym, overcrowded and with rude staff!

Homey-comfy family hotel, going quite every year! Nice rooms, food, pool, spa. Awesome personel - we were greeted by Eduarda and Anna - thank you for looking after us! Walking distance to town centre streets, very convenient.

Our stay in the Glenroyal Hotel was exceptional. It was so child friendly, the family room, gift bag for kids, books and toys in the room. The separate family pool was fantastic. Great food, extremely friendly staff - with a special mention to Edwarda on the reception desk who could not have been more helpful - thank you! We would love to return!

Attended Barnhall lunch and was so impressed. Food was outstanding. Staff were very professional and friendly especially our two waiting staff Michael and Grace. I think this hotel is out there as far as what it offers! The best food we have had at a function like this in a very long time..well done to all involved ! Will be highly recommending to people

Lovely one night at the Glen Royal. Staff were friendly and efficient, great reception staff especially Edwarda and the other lady with long red hair (sorry did not catch name) both extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and hot food was fresh and served by the chef.
The room was clean and well equipped, loved the Elimis toiletries.
Did not get chance to use the leisure facilities.

I had an excellent stay at the Glenroyal Hotel in Maynooth. The hotel is well located, professionally managed and maintained to a high standard. My room was comfortable and impeccably presented, and the dining and leisure facilities were equally impressive.
Service throughout was courteous, efficient and welcoming.

A particular mention should be given to Edwarda, the Brazilian receptionist, whose friendly and welcoming manner is a real credit to the hotel. She has a natural warmth and positivity that makes guests feel at ease and genuinely welcome.

I would not hesitate to recommend the Glenroyal and look forward to returning.

I just got home from this fantastic hotle yesterday with my 2 children boy 8 with autism and girl 13 we stayed for 3 night and everything from the cheak in lady eduarda to the cheak out girl Louise was fantastic. The room so so clean the house was spotless and everyone was so nice. The girl who served us our fabulous meal was so nice Gabriella and the food was out of this world so much so my daughter ordered her meal twice in the 1 sitting. The girls in the kids club Aoibhe and Phargavi were so good and so helpful and kind to all of us but they all went out of there way to make things easier for me and my son they got us a quite place in the restaurant to eat and they didn't have want my son wanted but went out of there way to get as close to it as possible and I myself am a fussy eater and they mixed and matched the meal to suit my liking. They all just wanted us to have as much fun as possible even in the family pool they told us what time was the best time to come for my son and said they could do what ever we needed to make it easier on him. We had that nice and relaxed of a time I have already booked us back in for Easter. There games room is class and my kids have had bad experiences in kids clubs before but not here even when is was the only child here they still sat with him and tried to make it fun for him. I cant recommed this hotle more and if you have kids its a must and kids with ASD ( SPECIAL NEEDS) then its an even bigger must have. 15 out of 10

I stayed here last week with my son for mid term, hotel is fantastic , I highly recommend this place to stay, from start to finish we had a great time.
Greeted by ana at reception who was very helpful , she gave my son a goodie bag and told him about the kids club, she was cheerful and friendly so thanks ana.
We had dinner in arkle restaurant and service was 100% , food was delicious, portions small but that's ok, desserts were fantastic also.
The pool was our favourite, it is so big and so clean , the nicest pool I've seen in ireland so far.
Rooms were big and clean, lovely beds.
The next day I got a coffee and my son got a complimentary hot chocolate in the coffee shop, very nice .
I highly recommend this hotel, im booking my next stay soon.

We had an amazing time, we booked a package through Rory’s Travel Club which included Breakfast and Main course in their lovely restaurant. Both the breakfast and dinner were incredible. We both had the sirloin steak with the skin on fries and it was beautiful, full of flavour and nice and juicy. Very beautifully decorated will definitely be recommending! Location is very ideal, there is so much in very close quarters that you wouldn’t be stuck for anything. We also got food in Shoda Market Cafe an it was to die for, again plenty of flavours that melt in the mouth.

We booked as a family of four for midterm. The staff were amazing. Ana on reception and Hannah in management couldn’t do enough to make us comfortable. The rooms were super for families. The food was exceptional. The facilities (pool kids club and movie nights) were brilliant. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Amazing few days at the Glen Royal hotel Maynooth. Ana and Edmarda were so helpful and professional in check in. Everything we required was no problem at all. Excellent breakfast and customer service throughout. The kids club, pool and new Gaming room all included. Will definitely be back at next midterm.
