It was a beautiful hotel with wonderful service. The staff were extremely kind and helpful . Unfortunately , construction going on above our room woke us early and there were scaffolds outside of our window. However, this is understandable considering that improvements are being made. The restaurant was fabulous and the cocktails at the bar delicious.

We stayed at the glen royal for a night out so we weren’t actually in the room for more then 2 hours before coming back from our night out. The room was lovely, bar area was also really nice. Staff were cordial. At 2am we ordered room service 3 pizzas, my friend had said they were bacon and mushroom pizzas, I called back to see if I could get just a plain margarita, to be told no, I asked if they were frozen “yes” so I kindly asked if they could just pick off the bits before cooking it. The response was they are ‘too busy’ I didn’t push any further. An hour goes by and the food arrives. This was the worst pizza I have never had in my life even after taking the bacon and mushroom off it. It looked like it had been cooked, frozen over, then cooked again it was just rotten. The man who delivered it was really nice but €60 total was just ridiculous. At 4/5am the fire alarm went off which startled us all. I left very early before my friends and in all fairness I did not speak to anyone about these complaints so maybe there could have been a resolution if I had spoke with a manager. The location was ideal for the night out but to have so much to say about a hotel we were souly using to just sleep and the price of what it was. Maybe it was just a hectic night…

We were recommended this hotel from another family as they always stay here with younger kids it was our first time for st Patrick’s day and definitely won’t be our last we had a 10/10 experience hotel was absolutly gorgeous so clean the food was beautiful breakfast was 10 probly the best hotel breakfast loads to do for the kids entertainment games room pool the staff couldn’t do enough for us kids had a ball an I just want to mention the lovelly girl on reception eduarda so kind helping me she couldn’t of done enough we can’t wait to come back

From the moment we arrived we received a very warm welcome ,the staff member explained everything we needed to know ,thank you Owen .
The breakfast ,room,beds ,and swimming pools were fabulous.

Poor gym, overcrowded and with rude staff!

Homey-comfy family hotel, going quite every year! Nice rooms, food, pool, spa. Awesome personel - we were greeted by Eduarda and Anna - thank you for looking after us! Walking distance to town centre streets, very convenient.

Our stay in the Glenroyal Hotel was exceptional. It was so child friendly, the family room, gift bag for kids, books and toys in the room. The separate family pool was fantastic. Great food, extremely friendly staff - with a special mention to Edwarda on the reception desk who could not have been more helpful - thank you! We would love to return!

Attended Barnhall lunch and was so impressed. Food was outstanding. Staff were very professional and friendly especially our two waiting staff Michael and Grace. I think this hotel is out there as far as what it offers! The best food we have had at a function like this in a very long time..well done to all involved ! Will be highly recommending to people

Lovely one night at the Glen Royal. Staff were friendly and efficient, great reception staff especially Edwarda and the other lady with long red hair (sorry did not catch name) both extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and hot food was fresh and served by the chef.
The room was clean and well equipped, loved the Elimis toiletries.
Did not get chance to use the leisure facilities.

Eduarda on reception was especially lovely and welcoming.

I had an excellent stay at the Glenroyal Hotel in Maynooth. The hotel is well located, professionally managed and maintained to a high standard. My room was comfortable and impeccably presented, and the dining and leisure facilities were equally impressive.
Service throughout was courteous, efficient and welcoming.

A particular mention should be given to Edwarda, the Brazilian receptionist, whose friendly and welcoming manner is a real credit to the hotel. She has a natural warmth and positivity that makes guests feel at ease and genuinely welcome.

I would not hesitate to recommend the Glenroyal and look forward to returning.

Excellent hospitality from Eduarda

Very friendly and helpful personal, especially Eduarda. Good breakfast l, clean rooms and pools.

I just got home from this fantastic hotle yesterday with my 2 children boy 8 with autism and girl 13 we stayed for 3 night and everything from the cheak in lady eduarda to the cheak out girl Louise was fantastic. The room so so clean the house was spotless and everyone was so nice. The girl who served us our fabulous meal was so nice Gabriella and the food was out of this world so much so my daughter ordered her meal twice in the 1 sitting. The girls in the kids club Aoibhe and Phargavi were so good and so helpful and kind to all of us but they all went out of there way to make things easier for me and my son they got us a quite place in the restaurant to eat and they didn't have want my son wanted but went out of there way to get as close to it as possible and I myself am a fussy eater and they mixed and matched the meal to suit my liking. They all just wanted us to have as much fun as possible even in the family pool they told us what time was the best time to come for my son and said they could do what ever we needed to make it easier on him. We had that nice and relaxed of a time I have already booked us back in for Easter. There games room is class and my kids have had bad experiences in kids clubs before but not here even when is was the only child here they still sat with him and tried to make it fun for him. I cant recommed this hotle more and if you have kids its a must and kids with ASD ( SPECIAL NEEDS) then its an even bigger must have. 15 out of 10

I stayed here last week with my son for mid term, hotel is fantastic , I highly recommend this place to stay, from start to finish we had a great time.
Greeted by ana at reception who was very helpful , she gave my son a goodie bag and told him about the kids club, she was cheerful and friendly so thanks ana.
We had dinner in arkle restaurant and service was 100% , food was delicious, portions small but that's ok, desserts were fantastic also.
The pool was our favourite, it is so big and so clean , the nicest pool I've seen in ireland so far.
Rooms were big and clean, lovely beds.
The next day I got a coffee and my son got a complimentary hot chocolate in the coffee shop, very nice .
I highly recommend this hotel, im booking my next stay soon.
