An oasis of serenity in the heart of bustling SOHO. Beautifully appointed common areas on the ground level. We had a “bookcase” king bed room that was spacious, very quiet and lovely. Staff were all polished and professional. Breakfast service was delicious and served on beautiful Wedgewood chinaware. All in all a positive stay — I would recommend. We booked through the Chase Visa “Edit” program and the value was quite good.
A nice hotel, but I don't appreciate getting hit with a 5% service charge that is added on to a fully pre-paid booking. The booking site says there is an optional service fee (there are many optional fees listed), but this one was automatically there when I checked out. My company allows me to book online through a FULLY PAID booking service that I have used close to 50 times, and never has an additional fee been added to my bill. I HAVE TO PAY THIS FEE, not my company, because it is a fully paid booking. I have no intention on embarrassing my self by fighting with reception to get it removed. The only reason that I don't give them a one star review is because other than that, is was a very nice hotel
Great place
10/10 senza dubbio.
We stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff always had a smile, always ready to help and offer the best they can.
Martin and the rest of the concierge staff assisted with several requests and checked back in with us afterwards.
Absolutely fantastic, you get what you pay for. The utmost customer service and it’s consistent with our stay at The Covent Garden Hotel (smaller but equally intimate).
And on a side note, the green juice and golden juice in the morning is very refreshing!
We just arrived in our next city and are missing the SoHo Hotel already.
Property is in a great location down a cul de sac, so even though it is in the heart of Soho it is really quiet. Staff were super friendly when we checked in and gave us a tour of the facilities as it was our first stay in this property. There is a cute little honesty bar. We got back from our evening out and had a drink and a really delicious club sandwich in the restaurant. Interior design is off the charts amazing. I loved all the different textiles and the beautiful fabric wallpaper, so much attention to detail. I also loved the little gifts we got throughout our stay, a hand cream and pillow spray.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, the only thing that we did not have included was breakfast, so you need to add on another £80 approx.
There really wasn’t anything to dislike.
One of the best places for a mimosa. Called in for a couple of glasses while window shopping around the area.
Have visited many times over the years and it never disappoints. Great atmosphere and staff.
I used to stay at the Soho Hotel when it first opened, back in the noughties. Of course I went back in 2026 to celebrate a big birthday, with my sister. From my first contact with the booking department until our departure, the level of service excelled. Far from being obsequious and aloof, the staff went out of their way to be friendly, helpful and proactive. Everything was perfect, from the morning coffee to the inspirational decor. The hotel arranged a spectacular upgrade to one of the new suites and welcomed me with a bottle of birthday champagne.
If you have never visited before you will marvel at how quiet the rooms are, given the location right in the heart of London's busiest neighborhood. Every inch of the accommodation is spotlessly clean, the Rikrak bath and body range smell gorgeous and we even had a turntable with some classic vinyl in our suite. It was the perfect place to celebrate and I will be back as soon as I can find an excuse to come down to London again.
Staying at the Soho Hotel was one of the best decisions we made for our London trip.
We are blessed to travel often and have stayed at some exceptional high‑end hotels, but this one stands out in a league of its own.
The hotel is beautifully and thoughtfully designed — every corner feels intentional, warm and welcoming. The interiors (our room, the drawing room, the library) were not only stunning but also incredibly comfortable. Despite being in the heart of Soho, the hotel is very peaceful inside, and we were able to enjoy some of the best, most restful sleep we’ve ever had in any hotel.
The staff deserve special mention. They are exceptionally well trained, knowledgeable and genuinely committed to making guests feel cared for. They went above and beyond for us, including accommodating my considerable list of food allergies with both kindness and efficiency. Their attention to detail made us feel 'at home' and truly looked after.
One of the highlights was how perfectly they timed our Afternoon Tea during the intermission of a long theatre show — we never felt rushed and made it back in perfect time for the second half. Moments like this are a testament to how well the team understands hospitality at the highest level.
The location is unbeatable. We could walk almost everywhere or hop onto a bus or the Underground within minutes. And throughout our stay, the hygiene and housekeeping standards were impeccable.
The Soho Hotel is now firmly one of our favourite hotels anywhere in the world, and we cannot wait for the opportunity to return!
Good location, the room was spacious, good gym
We emailed ahead of arrival because my wife was pumping and we needed freezer storage for breastmilk. They confirmed it, handled it fine for three days, then someone moved everything to the fridge on day four without telling us. It all thawed. Three days of milk gone. They apologized and that was it — no gesture, nothing.
Checked into a room that was like a sauna. Turned the AC on, left, came back hours later and it was still roasting. They admitted the fault and we had to switch rooms late at night after already unpacking. Housekeeping should have caught this before we ever walked in — the room faces the sun, it wasn’t hard to miss.
Breakfast is “included” but it’s actually a £40 daily credit, which sounds fine until you’re sitting there and a coffee, juice, egg dish and splitting one extra thing already pushes you over. We paid extra every single day. Cheap move for a hotel that isn’t cheap at all.
