Das Hotel selbst war sauber und die Lage war gut. Auch das Frühstück war gut.

Cons:

Leider wurde meine Erfahrung durch ein ernstes Zahlungsproblem überschattet. Beim Check-out wurde mir gesagt, dass nur die Parkgebühr von 30 € von meiner Karte belastet wird. Stattdessen wurde ohne vorherige Erklärung der gesamte Betrag für den Aufenthalt von meiner Visa-Karte abgebucht, obwohl ich die Buchung über Booking.com mit Klarna „In 30 Tagen bezahlen“ abgeschlossen hatte. Trotz meiner E-Mails habe ich bisher keine Antwort vom Hotel erhalten. Ich bitte dringend um Klärung dieser Angelegenheit.

Viel Licht und auch Schatten
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, die Menschen im Restaurant wirklich freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Das Schwimmbad ist schön.
Da es sehr heiß war, haben wir uns sehr über die Klimaanlage gefreut sowie über die Möglichkeit, das Abendessen per Zimmerservice zu bestellen.

Cons:

Die Dusche in unserem Zimmer ging nicht an. Es wurde uns zwar ein paarmal versprochen, dass sie repariert würde, das ist aber nicht passiert. Bei der starken Hitze während unseres Aufenthaltes wäre eine spontane Dusche ab und zu jedoch sehr erfrischend gewesen.
Wir haben dann im Schwimmbad geduscht. Da wir aber auch Kinder dabei hatten, durften wir nur zwischen 7 und 13 Uhr sowie eine Stunde am Nachmittag ins Schwimmbad, eine Regelung, die ich nicht nachvollziehen kann. Sie wird auch tatsächlich ganz ernsthaft durchgezogen. Um 13 Uhr kommt eine Spa-Person und bittet alle Menschen mit Kindern, den Pool zu verlassen. Warum dies so ist, konnte sie aber nicht erklären. Es sei halt so.

Unser Aufenthalt im Le Méridien Stuttgart war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Das Hotel ist schön, die Zimmer sind komfortabel und das gesamte Ambiente hat uns gut gefallen. An einigen Stellen merkt man zwar, dass eine Renovierung sinnvoll wäre, aber das hat unseren Gesamteindruck nicht wesentlich beeinträchtigt.

Cons:

Leider war der Service an der Bar am Abend eine große Enttäuschung. Insbesondere die Mitarbeiterin Anna-Lena (blonde Haare) hat uns von Anfang an unfreundlich und sehr hektisch bedient. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass unsere Bestellungen unnötig verzögert wurden, und ihr Verhalten sorgte auch im Umgang mit den Kollegen für Unruhe und Chaos. Ein solches Auftreten entspricht unserer Meinung nach nicht dem Service, den man von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwartet.

Abgesehen von dieser negativen Erfahrung können wir das Hotel jedoch empfehlen und hoffen, dass der Service an der Bar künftig verbessert wird.

A very nice hotel in the city centre with AC and a very nice and friendly staff.

A small pool area with a few sunbeds. It could be more for such a big hotel.
