Noise from truck on the highway was very loud hotel is too close to major truck route not good

My cousin enjoyed your pancake maker but the pancakes do not get fully cooked in that machine and they come out too lite to enjoy ,

Cons:

cook the pancakes so they don’t taste raw

I enjoyed my state and I would definitely go back again
Pros:

I like that everybody at the desk, spoke to us every day every morning, and he is very polite and friendly

Cons:

It was no dislike only thing that could probably improve is more washers and dryers, but it was no problem

$200 a night for a $20 a night room.... BOO!

Cons:

Shower was horrible and dangerous. No wall shelf or cabinet for towels, so they pull them in/on the sink. The shower curtain (only, no door) allowed water to flow on to the entire bathroom floor for a serious safety issues. The shower drain was in the center of the shower floor and was like stepping into an uneven bowl. The attached wall seat wasn't anchored correctly and would have crashed to the floor if any pressure was applied on it. The sink water pressure was a 20 out 10 but the terrible wand only shower pressure was a 2 out of 10. The room had been repainted at some point because there was white speckles and or paint spots on everything. The black mini-fridge was more white that black. The TV and the reception was about useless with just continuous buffering. Super hard bed and very weak AC unit. Couldn't wait to leave and would sleep in my car rather than stay here again..... BOO!!!!

Convenient location, hospitable staff, humid rooms
Pros:

This hotel is an option for those wishing to explore Jim Thorpe, a 20-25 minute drive down the PA turnpike. The hotel is right off of the turnpike, so it's best to ask for a room that faces the parking lot. The staff are professional and welcoming. The room is what we've come to expect from a Holiday Inn Express - microwave, fridge (but unfortunately no freezer section), relatively comfortable beds, etc. The rooms are a bit dated, but generally clean and spacious. We were given a quiet room at the end of the hallway, just as we asked for. The major issue we had is that the room was extremely humid. For example, the bathing suits we hung in the bathroom to dry were still damp over 24 hours later and our bathroom towels never fully dried. The humidity made the room feel clammy and uncomfortable, even with the AC running. I don't know if this was just an issue with our room or a more practice issue. It did negatively impact the quality of our sleep.

I would stay here over and over again. Staff was exceptional!

The beds were super comfy, big room. Good food. Great coffee!

Cons:

Pool was dirty and very cold. The outlets did not have baby proof covers. (I had a baby with me) the one outlet had no outlet cover at all by the dresser.
