Comfortable and reliable accommodation in a great location.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good if a trifle monotonous: scrambled eggs every day with either bacon, sausage or ham (on a 3-day rotation). The coffee was very good!

The hotel took us for a last minute booking when Haverleigh cancelled.
Pros:

Location was great. Laundry was available.Staff was nice( very)

They Charge Based On Location Not Quality
Pros:

For the past 2 years we have had a family member in long term care so we travel from Calgary to Victoria 3 or 4 times a year. We usually stay in Abigail's Hotel but this time we had to go at the last minute due to a health emergency and Abigail's was fully booked. We chose this hotel out of desperation because of the high occupancy rate in Victoria in June.
Compared to Abigail's this place was a bit disappointing. It really is a 3 star hotel even though they charge like it was a 5 star
The room was fine, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable. The maid service was very good.
There was no shortage of food for breakfast but it was pretty much the same every day.
The amenities in the bathroom were limited, no lotions, just soap and shampoo.
Overall staying here just met our needs but did not exceed.
At the room rates they charge I really resent the $25 per day parking fee.
