Booking and check-in were easy. The lobby is under construction, but our room was nice and clean. Breakfast was at the hotel next door and was terrible.
Hotel is under heavy construction and should NOT BE OPEN. Buyer Beware. Lobby is a construction site, pool/fitness rooms closed, 4th floor closed, have to walk to next door hotel for breakfast. One person staffing the whole hotel, front desk left unattended often.
One of the worst stays ever. Totally dirty. Almost impossible to contact staff members. Room had no phone, lights were burnt out. One tv did not work. Spoke with them 3 days. Each time they said they would leave a not for maintenance. Nothing was done. No daily makeup for 3 days. No fresh towels, no trash pickup. Had to walk to neighbor hotel for breakfast (good).
The staff at this location were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is under renovations so there was construction going on in the lobby and the rooms have not been updated. For the price that was completely fine with us. Overall a great deal for the price, we will be booking again for our next visit!
Well, the one thing they leave out online is that apparently it’s been under construction all year. Construction currently halted. So when you walk in everything is tore up. There’s no breakfast unless you walk to the Sister hotel next-door. That’s also under construction. The pool is closed. The gym is closed. The hot tub is closed. There’s no computer or printers in the lobby. There’s no place to buy drinks. The parking lot has crap everywhere. I travel all over the world all year and have never had staff be so dismissive. Last year alone I stayed 163 nights in hotels across the world. I normally only book Marriott but unfortunately, the closest one was 35 minutes away. So the photos of this place looks great. It’s quite deceiving as it looks absolutely nothing like the photos nor do the rooms. they are putting all of the guests onto the second floor. And have shut off the extra hot water to any of the floors. You were lucky to take a two minute shower before the ice cold. My first morning there I came down and asked for a do not disturb sign as there was none in the room and the staff member was , very inconvenient that he needed to find one for me. I had work belongings being left in the room and did not want service. By the looks of the hotel and the way he treated me I was hoping while I was gone that nobody would come into my room. I just took my stuff with me. Last night 4 cops for domestic abuse at the hotel. Horrible stay.
We had a reservation for a room with multiple beds suite since we are 4 people, at the hotel they gave us a king bed in a room full of bugs and with a weird smell. Horrible experience
I spent 3 nights and not one day did I get room service. It was under construction however I think the only person working was the front deck.
Limited room service, no ice available and limited personnel at front desk.
When we got tv, microwave, and mini fridge was not working had to call maintenance to have it fixed the next day.
The hotel is being renovated and they did not inform us. They gave us the wrong room (we paid for an executive studio suite with 2 queen beds and a pullout) they put us in a regular suite and said they changed our rooms and didn’t notify us but they couldn’t put us in our room because they were “sold out” - there were 4 cars in the parking lot and we never saw another person our entire stay. They didn’t have breakfast and instead said we had to walk over to a sister hotel to eat.
I should be offered a refund because I was not informed of a massive renovation. The AC/HEATER in room did not work properly. We were told that for breakfast we had to go next door to another hotel.Thankfully the Reno was not in painting process because chemical fumes flare up breathing problems……CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE WARNED OF HOTEL RENOVATIONS!
Very nice and clean.
Stopped in for a night on our way to Florida. The hotel was great! They are redoing the lobby and areas downstairs, but I wasnt there to sit in the lobby so I didn't mind. It was very quiet and I had a great night of sleep. The bed was comfortable. I was a little worried due to previous reviews saying they could hear construction going on but we had a wonderful night of sleep and I would definitely stay there again.
No sign to let you know your at the hotel, the gym and pool is closed due to renovations which they didnt tell you as your booking online! Very humid in the hallways, the air in your room works for a hour than shuts off back & forth ! Flies in the room and the tub was half way dirty
Although they were nice at the front desk, the hotel itself needed an update desperately. Overall, just a mediocre stay.
It was really nice actually, place was under construction downstairs, but the staff was friendly and the room was clean. It was quiet and a great bargain for what we needed and got. I hope new management doesn't change too much.
Wasn’t told in advance the property is under construction. It’s a basically vacated hotel, but still has rooms to rent. No ice available without special permission to get on another floor no food whatsoever or drinks no signage no address at all. Very basic room tiny TV and definitely needs a lot of work. Filthy carpets throughout not much interaction with staff. They were very disinterested.
The hotel as whole was fine. Our issue...we had an event that evening and didn't get back to the room until early morning. We were unaware that they were completely gutting and redoing the floor above us. The construction began at 8am and continued until we couldn't sleep and left. Not to mention that upon opening the curtains, a maintenance worker was directly outside the window cleaning it. The free breakfast was avaliable at the hotel next door. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. Once the repairs are completed I might stay again.
I liked Housekeeping. She was wonderful. The staff was cordial. The hotel, & the Holiday Inn Express next to it where we had to go for breakfast is completely run down. The grounds are horrible with all that pea gravel instead of grass looks like it belongs in the getto.
Rather run down former Marriott. Sink barely draining.
Ice maker broken. Shampoo container on wall broken. Elevator and hallway carpet dirty. No breakfast at hotel, one had to go to the adjacent hotel for breakfast
