Pros:

I wanted a room with a king size bed and when I went to check in, they told me they had to give me a room with two queen size beds. The beds were loaded to the ground and they were uncomfortable. So I didn’t get what I paid for that. I had no choice and I had to take it.

The fact that I didn’t get what I paid for. I wanted the king-size bed and I wasn’t told until I checked in that I wasn’t getting what I paid for. Instead, I was told that I was being bumped up to a room with two queen size beds. I don’t consider that being bumped up. The beds were loaded the ground and they were uncomfortable. They sunk.

Pros:

Ontbijt was top en het bed lag ook heerlijk. Goede service. Dicht bij verschillende eetgelegenheden en ook bij de Walmart

Cons:

Locatie zwembad was niet optimaal, vanaf half 4 had je alleen maar schaduw

Pros:

The bathroom doesn’t have a vent so humidity builds up and has nowhere to go. As soon as you open the room door, the smell of mold punches you in the face. The bathroom is even worse. The room has carpet which felt damp or sticky the whole time, likely due to absorbing moisture. I tried opening a window to get some fresh air but you could only crack it open 2-3” because metal safety (?) clips were drilled into the window frame.

Pros:

Room was clean. Bathroom is spacious. Close to the freeway and shopping. Staff was nice. They hung out in the back but they were nice when they came out. Restaurant staff and food were great.

Pros:

The front desk staff member welcomed us on arrival and was very professional and courteous. Our room was pretty quiet except for the sound of the air conditioner, it was a little loud. The reason I have 3 stars for the staff is because of the staff member at the breakfast counter the morning of the 22nd. She was unwelcoming, impatient and almost rude, it’s like she was resentful. Not acceptable customer service. We were patient with her and decided to try breakfast anyway to give the place a chance. But then we noticed she was courteous to the other customers after us. It was very disappointing. I usually like the Marriott hotels breakfasts, we stayed in more than a few Marriotts. I will think twice now to stay at the Marriott in Simi Valley. We plan on coming back in the future to see other sites but unfortunately, I think I may look for another place to stay.

Pros:

The carpets were just shampooed which is great but the floor was soaked and the room was muggy and air was moist. They had a fan going in there but a floor unit air conditioner would not cool the room down. We opened the window which just cracked open a bit. We arrived late and they didn’t have any other room. I woke up coughing and sick this morning.

Good stay near the Reagan Library
Pros:

Manager that checked is in provided some great advice and hints for our visit to the Reagan Library the next day. Her words of wisdom saved us hours and frustration.
