Really helpful staff
Pros:

We stayed the night before my wife was flying to Turkey. My wife has mobility difficulties but not yet got her blue badge so we couldn’t use the disabled spaces. The staff were really helpful in arranging parking right outside the hotel reception. One of the staff actually gave up her space so we could park there, and was waiting to meet us at reception. We had a very relaxing evening with a nice meal and drinks in the bar area, just what was needed before a flight early the next day. Nice to see the wine tower is still there although the “wine angels” who used to go up on a sort of trapeze to get the bottles aren’t. Special thanks to Yvannah and to her colleague who gave up her parking space. If flying from Stansted in the future we would certainly stay again.

Nice stay
Pros:

The hotel was great. Near the airport. Good service. Good sleep. Nice bar. Good beer. Nice personal. Only 4 minutes to the airport. Priceworth stay.

Mercifully, short
Pros:

The room was fine, and the beds comfortable.

Cons:

The Collage restaurant was disappointing. The service was poor and, though the desserts were good, our main courses were not. The ambience is tired and dispiriting.
