Schroedinger's lock - good luck
Cons:

Didn't feel safe. Door was on an angle like it had been kicked in before. Couldn't lock door from inside, had to slam it to shut it and hope that it was locked. No sound to indicate it had locked.
No one at reception to talk to at any hour.
Will not stay again.

For money the location was great but probably wouldn’t stay again

Location and size of the room. Actual room for tidy and clean

Cons:

Bathroom shower gross with mould. I was to check in at 2pm and room wasn’t ready and I waited until 2.30.

Great location but basic facilities are not having that attention to defail that should be standard practice.
Pros:

Location was great and price.

Cons:

We stayed 3 nights and they did not change/ supply more towels, bath mats or toilet paper even though when they serviced the room it would have been clear that these needed attention. Especially the bath mate and toilet paper. Be better, those are basic essentials. Dust behind the beds and side tables was next level and clearly not cleaned for a very long time.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
Check in was via a text message with the Room number and keypad entry code information.
After unpacking and settling in I checked the rooms facilities and found that the sliding door that lead to an outdoor area was unsecured and would not lock. The motels webpage stated that Reception was open from 8am to 8pm. Went to reception to report the fault at 6:45pm to find that a sign on the Reception door stated hours of operation were 10am to 6pm. Rang the contact number in the check-in text message. No Answer, call rang out. On the second attempt the phone was answered. I spoke to the man who answered and explained that the room was not secure and that anyone could enter the room at anytime. The man explained to me how to operate the lock on the door like I was an idiot and didn't know how it worked. I explained again that the lock was faulty and the room was unacceptable and not fit for use. His offered solution was to LEAVE AND FIND ANOTHER MOTEL. No offer to fix, no offer for another room, no offer for a refund, not even an apology. By this time finding another motel was not an option so I managed to barricade the door with a room chair that prevented the sliding door from opening. In the morning, at 10am, I went to reception to complain. No one was there. I waited until 10:15am and still no one arrived. Left the motel and returned at 11:30am, still no one in attendance. By this time room cleaning staff were on site. I spoke to "Frank" who was very friendly. I showed him the room and he agreed that the door was faulty but could offer no other advice other than to call the number in the text message.

Was great overall and the Munster Arms Hotel up the road had great meals!!!

The dark furniture etc was depressing and the outside areas needed a clean up with a blower!!!

Some serious renovations needed
Pros:

Absolutely loved this place for years but it's gone down hill pretty badly

It's quite run down
Wasn't very clean

Where did the old owner go? He took so much pride in this venue, it's quite sad to see how run down it is now
