The next time I take my wife to visit her friends I won’t stay at this hotel. I’ll stay near the airport. The Doubletree
Pros:

I was in town so my wife could visit her friends. This property was closest to their home.

Cons:

Breakfast was OK, but they advertise having a pancake machine and it was out of service. One of the coffee makers was broken so you had to wait in line. The hand sanitizer was empty in the breakfast area. Luckily one of the guests saw me trying to get some out of it and he gave me some. The room was nice and clean until I got up at 10:30 PM and there was a huge roach about 3” long then I couldn’t go back to sleep for 3 hours. I’ve been in Florida 30 years and it’s not a water bug or the fancy Palmetto bug as some people call them. It’s a roach. The woman at the front desk said the hotel doesn’t spray for them. Well they should!!! See photo below

I had an issue checking in. I feel like the gentleman profiled me. He was fumbling around with the paperwork and said he couldn’t find my check-in info, once I told him I called two days earlier to verify everything was good before traveling it’s something I always do. I named dropped Zoe because it’s who I spoke to. He found my reservation immediately.

Overall, we were satisfied.
Pros:

Breakfast was adequate. Location was fabulous. Staff well trained, friendly and helpful. The bathroom could be cleaner, it was acceptable for a one-night stay.
