Beautiful surroundings, beautiful restaurant interior. Room was comfortable

Cons:

No water in the room, no room service menu in the room, no details of the numbers within the hotel including reception.
When I asked at reception for room service and said I wanted water, they neglected to tell me they had a shop where I could buy water. Through room service I bought one item from the menu that cost 12.50, and a bottle of water. In total, it cost €30.75. That’s extortion. Breakfast was overpriced at €25. A similar breakfast in an Amsterdam hotel cost 17.50.

The morning incident completely ruined our stay. On January 1st at exactly 9:00 AM, while guests were still sleeping after New Year’s celebrations and fireworks, a hotel staff member entered our room without knocking, opened the door, turned on the lights, and started speaking in Dutch. I was asleep, our child was frightened. This was shocking and extremely disturbing.
When we later went to the reception to ask what had happened, we were told — without any apology — that they had simply “mixed up the room numbers.” This explanation is unacceptable. Entering an occupied room without knocking is a serious violation of privacy and basic safety standards.
An average hotel with a serious issue in staff organization and guest privacy. After such an experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

Om het hele Hotel ook op het dak waar ik op uitkeek overal sigaretten peukren. Bij de togang van het hotel, dat toch enige luxe wil uitstrallen, overal peuken zet een asbak neer of vebiedt daar te roken wat een smeerboel!!
