More than adequate for a weekend break
Pros:

Booking in was an efficient and quick process. The room was a reasonable size and clean and tidy. Fresh milk provided which made a nice change to the usual long life. Lovely view out to the lake front and lake beyond. Worth the extra cost I thought

Cons:

There was a strong smell of fresh paint when we first entered the room but that subsided during our stay. Only 2 normal tea bags provided each day which was not enough for two people if you wanted a 2nd cup in the morning. The shower water pressure was a little weak but there was plenty of hot water available

Clean tidy, great location. Great stay
Pros:

One night in Rotorua
Pros:

Large room for Ibis. Friendly staff. Quiet room (271). Location perfect for important tourist destinations. Free parking- plenty of space! Free laundry with caveat below.

Cons:

Too few washing machines - we never had our turn. No microwave.

Pros:

- Finally the Duty Manager has sorted the problem out. (See text below)

Cons:

- My reservation indicated a guaranteed check-in time of 14:00; however, my room was not made available until significantly later (4:15P.M.), resulting in an extended and frustrating wait after arrival. While the Duty Manager kindly offered breakfast for two for the duration of my two-day stay as a recovery gesture, the overall experience at the front desk remained disappointing.

In particular, I found one of the front desk interaction to be lacking in practicality, warmth, and willingness to assist.

During the delay, communication was limited and solutions were not proactively offered, which added to the inconvenience and left me feeling unsupported as a guest.

I appreciate the breakfast compensation plus 2 voucher of drinking already provided, but I would like this feedback formally noted as it reflects both a service lapse and a missed opportunity for effective guest care during an avoidable delay.

For resolution, I would appreciate:
- Acknowledgement of this service concern
- Assurance that the matter will be reviewed with the front office team
- Consideration of any further goodwill gesture you deem appropriate

- The price was more than what we got from the stay in the Ibis Rotorua hotel.

Good value for money
Pros:

I saw the reviews and was alittle worried it wont be as clean, comfortable or the wifi will be weak. The aircon was good, bed was firm and comfortable with clean sheets. The location was lovely to walk to eat street and town. The wifi was great for work. Great for a one night stay. Had a good view on level 1 facing the lake too.

Cons:

Room carpet can be updated in the room. No shampoo or conditioner. Basic hotel amenities which they do not provide which I find puzzling.

Kaffee jederzeit umsonst. Personal war freundlich. Waschmaschine und Trockner kostenlos zu benutzen.

Cons:

Wenn es schon Betten auf Rollen in den Zimmern gibt, sollten sie ab und zu verschoben und darunter gesaugt werden. Keine Klobürste im Bad und nur ein kleines Handtuch.
