Location was awesome, but ynfortunately, the room was meh.
Pros:

The staff was nice and the location was awesome.

Cons:

Our room was dirty. Comforter had stains on it and had to switch it out. The room had dust webs along the frame hanging on the wall above the bed and there was some dust webs in the corners of the walls. Also, the furniture is scuffed up and the lamp shades are stained with who knows what. Our room could use a massive over haul.... it was bad. We had been driving all day and too tired to change rooms. Someone needs to learn how to do quality control.

Dirty in Redding
Pros:

The location was awesome. Close to freeway and across the street from In -N-Out.

Cons:

Our room was dirty. There needs to be better quality control. Our bed cover had what appeared to be blood on it that soaked through onto the bed comforter underneath it. The large picture above bed and the corners of the room had large dust webs. Also, there was a handprint on the ceiling, which was super weird. The front desk person apologized for the blood and brought us new bedding. The paint is scratched on the walls, and the furniture was pretty chipped and acratched up. We were so tired from driving that day, otherwise I would have asked for a new room. I feel that we should have been offered a discount... we were not, unfortunately.

Large bug spray bottle left on sink. Air conditioner was super noisey and kept waking us up all night. Bathrooms need a good cleaning or remodel. Lobby stunk of cigarettes..

It is what it is. Fine for a quick overnight stay.
Pros:

It is what it is. It was a quick overnight stay for us passing through and it served its purpose. Pool was a nice to take a swim on a very hot day. The guy who checked us in was also very friendly think his name was Thomas.

Cons:

Echoing other reviews. The rooms are dated. Bed wasn't the most comfortable i have slept in. I had to crouch down in the shower and I am 5'11 not that tall. AC was very noisy and couldn't have this on during the night so wasn't the best sleep I have had. The breakfast too was cereal and a yogurt and coffee not what I would describe as breakfast included.

Very convenient location
Pros:

Many restaurants and shops across the road. Easy to find. I brought my son and his friends to Waterworks Park and it was super easy to get to from both north and south I-5. There is a smaller pool located towards the back of the building with no shade. Breakfast is served until 10am and coffee is available in the lobby 24/7.
