Really great for the price. I highly recommend. Very easy to find location and very close to almost everything. Rooms were clean and the staff were very welcoming. Thank you!
This property offered a good buffet breakfast for free.
Great location, reasonable hotel for the price (UK premier inn equivalent). Quite dated. Friendly staff. Good if you want a budget stay.
Hotel Venezia is in a great location for transport restaurants and some shopping
The rooms are very dated and there is no fridge but the staff at reception were happy to place my food in their fridge
The staff are great one in particular was amazing I forgot his name he showed us how to get around and what to do
There is a market in Mestre on Wednesday and Fridays
I didn’t feel safe at night as there was limited Italian people around and more of Bangladesh people and it was dominated by males (at night) (I’m only saying this as I was a female with my son)
Overall though it was ok
All I said in a previous review was the bathroom in the rooms are very small and narrow and it was uncomfortable. Why this got removed was a bit of a worry? I thought we could be honest? Bit of a worry. If this gets deleted again I will ask my friend who has 300k followers on insta to share my review as I think everyone has a right to tell the truth. I wasn't even being negative about the over all experience, all I said was that I was size 14 when I went there and I found uncomfortable turning round in the shower without banging my arms on the wall etc. It's called honesty!! I wanted to just let other travellers know this as a warning. Don't silent honest reviews! Very disappointed with the site for removing that review. However it's a good budget hotel however you will need to be aware that it's not walking distance to the main part of Venice. You will need to get a bus that's roughly half an hour ride to get to the main attraction of Venice. I would tell you the bus I used but it was wrote on my previous review that I done the day after leaving and now I've forgotten. Please blame trust pilot for this as if my previous one wasn't deleted I put down the exact stops etc
Common areas of the hotel were beautiful and well-cared for, but the room wad aged and needs love, especially the bathroom
We stayed here 18 years ago and not much has changed in terms of bedding/decor. There have been some updates as one of our rooms had a new bathroom while the other one was original, but same bedspreads and curtains from our first visit. It was clean. Breakfast and service were very good.
Lovely place, unique, like no other.
Old fashioned not great view from balcony but staff very helpful, there’s a safe, bathroom is small and shower leaks. Air con is good. Breakfast is okay. The area is a bit rough but public transport is good and gets you into the city fast and reliable. Overall good location and you get what you pay for.
Lovely traditional hotel that’s well situated for bus/tram links to and from the airport and also for getting actually into Venice. All the staff seemed very pleasant and accommodating when needed. Typical well stocked traditional breakfast set us up for the day ahead. Would recommend.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Great overall feel, clean, great staff, delicious breakfast with lots of options
This hotel offers good value for the price, especially considering how expensive the Venice area can be. While the building and rooms are a bit outdated, and the decor leans toward the eccentric, the hotel puts in effort to maintain a clean and comfortable environment. The surrounding neighborhood looks a bit rough around the edges, but once inside, it feels safe and welcoming. It's not right in Venice—expect about a 30-minute bus ride to the island—but public transport is convenient, with bus stops about a 10-minute walk away. One standout feature is the breakfast buffet, which is surprisingly generous and offers a wide assortment of options to start your day. A solid budget-friendly option if you don’t mind being a little outside the main tourist area.
Lovely hotel, clean, friendly helpful staff and excellent location.
This was recently refurnished and everything appeared to be perfect.
We booked the hotel as part of a Easyjet package. Hotel is beautiful and the staff were so helpful. Hotel was easy to find and a short walk from Calla Corso where we were able to catch the bus into Venice or back to the airport. Excellent choice for breakfast which included gluten free options. One of us is on a keto diet and had lots of choice too. The croissants were amazing.
Out of date and musty - okay location - not much for breakfast
We are currently staying here as a family of 4, our room has one double bed and 2 ample sized single beds.
After reading the reviews, I was a little worried about staying here.
I needn’t have done - our room was cosy and an ample size for 4 of us. The room was clean and the maid came in every day to change towels. The staff and the maids were all so lovely and friendly and could not help us enough.
I have seen on reviews that the shower isn’t big enough etc, we found it to be an excellent shower with plenty of space and power and no leaking at all as in other reviews.
There is also a safe provided free of charge in your room.
The beds are very comfortable and the temperature of the room could be easily controlled with the windows or heating switch.
Breakfast - this was great with plenty of choice for a continental serving; croissants, toast, boiled eggs, yoghurt, cereal, meats and cheeses and a good choice of drinks, all easy to access.
Yes, the walls are a little thin so you can hear others but this is something I expect when in an older hotel that has character.
The reason for my 4/5 score is that I personally did not care for the area that the hotel is located in. But as for the staff and vendors of this hotel I feel that they cannot do enough, they are incredibly helpful and as a family we really have enjoyed our stay here.
There are so many hotels and this was bad choice as hotel was presented well on the website and in reality that was so disappointing place, small , extremely outdated place, bathroom of the size best for midgets, noise of air conditioning and noise in the corridor, lift operations , bedspreads are who knows how old, seems that the owners of the family are stingy people and make everything difficult for this hotel as management is not flexible too in offering services to guests so my advice is " Stay away"
The room was small to the point of ridiculous. You could either umpack your suitcase or you could sleep. Having said that the beds were excellent. Breakfast was very basic and the staff friendly enough. Very dated and not particularly clean but OK by Euro standards although would never go back. Bathroom was standing room only. Or sit.
