Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten

Was really convenient for my business stay. The train station into Berlin Main station and on to the airport is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Some lovely restaurants in the area. The hotel restaurant offered a good selection for breakfast. The hotel was clean, quiet and had friendly staff.

Excellent place to stay to discover the city. Near public transit

Lovely reception area. Friendly staff. Good English which helped me to check in and for all information. Beside a train station so easy to access from the airport. Nice, clean room. Short walk to a number of attractions and access to hop on hop off bus tours from the Victory column.

Hotel conditions are great. Room are kind of small for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids.
Breakfast are very expensive. $27 euros. $3 per a bottle of water.
Not many options in the area unless to take a trip to next metro station.
Staff were great.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous. The room was very comfy, the shower superb and the staff very friendly. The hotel is located right next to Tiergarten S-Bahn and you never wait more than 2 mins for a train.

Perfect great location

I used Novotel a few times and this experience was another good one. The only drawback is the laundry service. I wish they had machines in the hotel instead of service request which gives little flexibility. This is not good for family traveling. We ended up left with dirty laundry to next destination

The trains in Germany are excellent and major station was.just across the street. Stay at this location was a perfect start point to exploring Berlin. We couldn't be happier.

Very clean and good location

Brilliant hotel, large car park underground and with hotel close to SBahn Tiergarten across the street. Very easy to get anywhere and of course to walk downtown. 25 minute walk to Kudamm passed Zoo station.

The staff make this hotel, without exception from the chambermaid team to the reception desk and the staff greeting everyone at the breakfast reception, they make sure there are no issues.

The spa is lovely, not too busy when we were there and ideal to relax and read in the seating area. A simple sauna and steam room with showers and ice maker. As traditional in German Hotels all nude. My advice is don’t be the one who insists on a costume - other guests will point out this is not acceptable. They mean it!

Room ( our choice exec with free bar in the room) is very comfortable, nice mattress and pillows.

We understand from speaking to staff the future is uncertain with Novotel not renewing their lease, so what next? We hope a new hotelier steps in because this has become our favourite stay in Berlin. Time will tell but some uncertainty for staff when we were there. We wish them well.

This is a nice hotel, near the Berlin Tiergarten and walking distance to the Ku'Damm and Charlottenburg. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was fine. The spa was very nice. A solid choice. The S -Bahn goes directly to and from the airport as well.

During our stay, we were impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every team member we interacted with was not only helpful but also genuinely friendly, which contributed to making our experience seamless and enjoyable. We can’t wait to return and experience it all over again.
The beds were comfortable, the room was cleaned as requested, and overall bright and spacious.
The hotel's location is also a significant advantage. The S-Bahn line 3 is conveniently located just across the street, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, there’s a taxi stand right in front of the hotel, offering further convenience for transportation. The location (Tiergarten ) enhanced our overall experience and made getting around a breeze.

This hotel is conveniently located just steps away from an underground train station with easy parking and excellent gym, sauna and steam room.

Sehr angenehm, ist kein Luxus aber anständig. Zum übernachten sehr gut, zum verweilen eher nicht. Sehr gute lage.

Veldig fornøyd med hotellet. Enkelt og greit, rolig og lett tilgjengelig.

Cons
There is only one restaurant nearby and one Burger King. We had to dine in at the hotel for dinner which we waited more than half an hour for food. Food choices were limited on the menu. Ordered a Caesar salad which had lettuce (some of them had black spots on it), cherry tomatoes and cheese only. It should come with croutons but none was found.

The property was right by the train station which made it super convenient. Also, having access to the park was great. Beer garden right next to it. The rooms a were comfortable but basic.

We loved our stay at the Novotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to public transportation. We also loved how close it was to Tiergarten park.

The hotel overall wasn’t too bad, but I’ve tried to used the sauna and steam room a couple of morning and at 10.30 both facility were still cold and mog turned on. TV is only in German and no option to buy or rent a movie in English.
