Cozy atmosphere. Liked the smaller size vs a bigger hotel. Staff were very friendly and willing to help answer any and all questions. Appreciated the lovely fresh pastries delivered to the door each morning. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to add some protein to the breakfast ( an egg or deli meats). I’m a breakfast person and found too much bread for me personally.,
We stayed at Hôtel des Coutelliers for my birthday, and it turned into one of the most unforgettable celebrations with my husband. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. My hubby surprised me with 36 roses and balloons, and thanks to the manager and the wonderful staff, everything was beautifully arranged. It was such a touching moment.
The kindness didn’t stop there. During checkout, the manager even sang Happy Birthday to me, which made me feel genuinely celebrated. The breakfast was another highlight. It’s included with the stay, and we loved the thoughtful presentation: a lunch bag left right outside the door so you can enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your room. And if you’re still hungry, you can simply ask the reception for more food or coffee. It felt generous and homey.
The location is excellent, and parking is conveniently right in front of the property for 18 CAD a day with in and out access. The service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and sincere.
Another bonus is the direct passage to Légende, the Michelin‑starred restaurant where we had my birthday dinner. It was the best way to end the night.

J’étais seule avec mes deux ados et on a été bien accueilli, on était bien et je me suis sentie en sécurité. Lits très confortables et la chambre était très propre (pour moi c’est essentiel). L’hôtel est bien situé dans le Vieux-Québec.

What a wonderful experience we had attending the Winter Carnival. Music , ice sculptures, maple syrup and live music. The French culture is amazing.
Accueil impeccable et équipement parfait
La proximité des endroits à visiter. Le déjeuner à la chambre est très bon. On y a toujours des collations/thé/café à porter de main à l'accueil. Stationnement en face. Lit très confortable.
Le seul bémol est qu'il faut descendre pour se procurer du thé. Il n'y a pas de bouilloire la chambre.
