Spectacular view
Pros:

Beautiful views. Clean, cool room. Spacious.
They gave me an upgrade with a bottle of wine and water and juices in the fridge. Very much appreciated, thank you

Al mattino ci siamo svegliati con una perdita dal soffitto e il bagno allagato. Non ci hanno minimamente detto se volevamo una camera di appoggio o un rimborso parziale dato il disagio recavo.

La vue sur le Tower Bridge est exceptionnelle !

Cons:

Si j’avais su qu’il n’y avait pas de clim dans les chambres je n’aurais clairement pas pris cet hôtel.

Great hotel and although building work was going on it hasn’t put us off booking again in August

Die top Lage des Hotels und der fantastaszische Blick aus einigen Zimmern auf die Towerbridge haben mich über den Preis
Pros:

Die Lage direkt an der Towerbridge ist perfekt um viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig oder mit der Underground oder per Schiff zu erkunden. Absolut top!
Das Personal des Hotels ist sehr freundlich!

Cons:

Das Hotel ist von der Ausstattung mehr als in die Jahre gekommen und Preis/Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis! Das ZimmerMobiliar ist noch aus den Siebzigerjahren, die Fenstergriffe waren beide defekt (nahezu unbenutzbar) und im Badezimmer hatte die Badewanne einen nicht mehr zeitgemäßen Duschvorhang, die Fugen leichten Schimmel und eine uralte Armatur. Es gab zwei Einzelbetten, jedoch nur für 1Bett einen Nachttisch! Es gab keine Minibar und auch keinen kl.Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück war von der Auswahl der angebotenen Speisen in Ordnung aber nicht sehr wertig.

Wonderful view! But room did not meet expectations

Gorgeous view and excellent location.

Cons:

We couldn't cool down the room on the hottest night of the year, so we had to try and sleep in 29 degree C heat. Reception explained that the hotel's cooling system wasn't working and guests were being provided with portable fans. Our cold tap was faulty. Hotel room facilities are a bit dated, but at least the room was clean. I know I'm mainly paying for the view/location but the room did not live up to expectations for a £575 2-night stay.

Pros:

The hotel was in a good location for everywhere we needed to go.

Cons:

We were not told until we arrived about the building works and no air con. We asked several times on the Saturday for a fan and got told it had been delivered to the room - it had not.

We ended up finding a manager abd asking for a fan that we could take now up to the room - he went and found one straight away.

This ruined our experience of the hotel as it was a heat wave and I am menopausal so could not be expected to sleep in a room with no air con or fan.

Disappointing would not recommend
Pros:

Location of hotel exellent.area around hotel vibrant. Lots of food choices in the area.

Cons:

The hotel was being refurbished more importantly on the floor /next room to ours. Our room was not refurbished and in need of refurbishment. This information was not disclosed till we checked in even though it was a planned refurbishment and in my opinion the hotel should have advised clients of this so they could cancel if they wished.
this hotel is nearer 3 stars the breakfast was not of a standard I expected. The cooked meats were cheap and processed. I had to wait for 10 mins before someone came to cook the omelette. The omelette was a one egg omelette with 4 slices of mushroom! Staff didn’t smile no interaction felt I was in a working man’s cafe!
After informing the hotel the response was sorry you were disappointed hope you will give us another chance.!! Really disappointing would not recommend.

Love seeing the Tower Bridge day and night from my hotel room window.
Pros:

Marvellous view with Tower Bridge. Excellent English breakfast. Staff are friendly. Less than 10 mins walk to Tower Hill station, which is in Circle Line connecting to Paddington Station where can take airport express to Heathrow airport.

Cons:

All good except hotel room facilities is a bit dated, but it's all clean.
