Negatives-Terrible noise pollution from nearby pubs & clubs until 5am. Our rooms 333 & 334 suffered damp bedding due to faulty air conditioning throughout our stay this also caused a musty smell and black mold was present around the unit and our room especially the bathroom-We quickly became ill.
Some reception staff are quite rude and dismissive and don’t want to help resolve the issues, denying or using excuses for any issues we faced instead of trying to rectify them. The exception being Javier & Ekaterina who had good customer service & tried to help me resolve the issues I was facing even though they couldn’t. The bar staff are extremely rude and the quality of drinks and snacks is poor. We preferred a short walk to Dialprix Paradero supermarket to buy our drinks and snacks. They even have a deli for sandwiches, boxed salads & coffees
Positives-the cleaning staff are fantastic and do a great job. The breakfast included with our stay was decent, and the catering staff were brilliant with my son’s coeliac and wheat allergy making sure he always had pancakes or omelette made fresh and free from contamination. The area around the hotel is quite grimy and feels unsafe. We were also warned by local shops to be cautious in this area.
Overall- it wouldn’t be a hotel or area I would revisit, however a short trip to los Cristianos or Costa Adeje & you get a much nicer impression of Tenerife

Just back from this hotel. We had the most amazing stay the staff were wonderful all the staff were so friendly and always made an effort to talk to us and our child and I mean ALL staff, bar, cleaners, maintenence, restaurant, receptionist! The hotel is clean and tidy, no long ques for anything, lots of food options, lots of drink options too. The entertainment and animation team was amazing, special shout out to nadir on the animation team, super kind and made our little one so confident joining in the songs and dances. We have been so sad leaving this hotel the most amazing holiday! Would 100% reccomend!

Food average hotel very clean enjoyed holiday only downside for me was the card who had to take every where with you for drinks and around pool bar and at lunch and dinner it looked like they were checking up on what you have had

I struggled to find a review that wasn’t plain and simple to read, now like all hotels I believe it’s what you make of it.

Check in at night was a breeze staff couldn’t have been more helpful and explained everything. Clear instructions to our room how everything worked. Now at nearly 11 o’clock night it was hard to take all in as we were exhausted.

Hotel room again, clean and tidy. Beds were ok but then again I believe you just can’t get comfort other than your own bed, but for somewhere to put the head down it was manageable. Air con we kept one of the cards in at all times and the room was cool for coming back into altho it wasn’t great.

The food - this was the panicking one for me as I read the food was horrible, repetitive and hardly any options and lacked service by staff. I am not sure where this review came from because this couldn’t be any further from the truth. Food had plenty of options and varied from Chinese night, Mexican night, Italian,
fish, stews and one of the biggest salad bars I have seen. My child of 7 even tried some news bits and pieces. There really was something for everyone and once seated a waiter was on hand to take your drinks order.

Entertainment was also brilliant there was some either at the pool during the day water polo, water spin bouncy castle slide. At night time DJ’s, circus acts, comedy there was also access to a kids club and the reps entertained daily with a mini disco. During the week different singers played the piano and the cello before dinner. There is also options for photo shoots with the family with a on site photographer for all them matchy matchy outfits that seem to be the new phase x

1 area for improvement - all inclusive isn’t very clear there isn’t a list of what is included and what isn’t how the snack bar works etc I think this would be helpful. Some advice if in doubt just ask.

Our stay for the week has been one that won’t be forgotten . We would even come again ❤️

Overall, Hotel Gala in Tenerife is a good hotel. It’s a great place to rest and sleep, and the rooms are very comfortable and well-maintained.
> The Food (What to Keep):
> The food at the main buffet is good and varied. Having a different theme every night really helps keep things interesting. Although I had read some negative reviews complaining about a lack of variety, I completely disagree. I never felt there was a shortage of options during main meals, and honestly, this was one of the best All-Inclusive hotels I’ve stayed at when it comes to food quality.
> Bar & Dining Service:
> * Limited snacks between meals: Outside of main buffet hours, the All-Inclusive food selection is extremely limited, consisting almost entirely of fast food, with no healthier or more varied alternatives.
> * Pool bars: There are two bars in the pool area. The first is poorly managed—usually staffed by just one person, creating long queues and extended wait times. Even when two employees are working, there is zero coordination between them, showing a complete lack of management experience in workflow organization. The second pool bar is a joke: it opens, but there is never anyone actually there to serve guests. The nearby lifeguard even mockingly joked to another staff member that if they stepped into that bar, they’d actually have to start serving people!
> * Breakfast bottleneck: At breakfast, the omelette station creates huge problems for anyone just wanting to grab churros or pancakes. The omelette-making process is extremely slow, causing long queues that block access to the rest of the counter. Management is clearly sleeping on the job here and needs to reorganize the layout and process.
> * Bar service overall: Service at the bars overall is quite poor. The staff member working at the main bar in particular really needs to be friendlier and change her attitude towards guests.
> * Drink service during meals: Even though it’s a buffet, you cannot serve yourself drinks—you have to order them from the staff. The service is extremely slow; on one occasion, my drink arrived just as I was finishing my meal.
> * Lack of replenishment: The restaurant frequently ran out of items and was slow to restock—this applied to both the food options and basic cutlery.
> * All-Inclusive clarity: It isn't very clear what is actually included in the All-Inclusive package, which makes ordering confusing.
> Pool & Broken Rules:
> * Sunbed reservation policy: The "no sunbed reservation" policy simply does not work, and I don't even see the point of having it. It is written everywhere, yet guests continue to reserve sunbeds with towels as early as 6:00 AM without any staff control. Management needs to take action: either enforce the rule properly or remove the signs altogether.
> Cleanliness, Maintenance & Rooms:
> * Unstable shower water temperature: The hot water in the shower constantly fluctuates between hot and cold very quickly, making taking a shower a very unpleasant experience.
> * No water replenishment: Drinking water in the room was never replenished during our stay—we were only given two bottles upon arrival, which is completely insufficient for an All-Inclusive service at a 4-star hotel.
> * Room cups: The cups in the room were just rinsed on-site by the cleaning staff rather than being replaced with clean, disinfected ones. It was noticeable because they were rarely properly washed.
> * Bad odor in public restrooms: The public/common restrooms constantly had a foul smell, indicating a clear lack of sewage/trap maintenance and deep cleaning.
> * Table maintenance: In the main dining hall and outdoor terraces, tables were constantly left piled with dirty dishes. When staff finally cleared them, they rarely wiped them down properly. I personally watched a staff member clear a filthy table and just quickly sweep a cloth over it for show without actually cleaning it (as shown in my photo).
> Beach Towel Policy:
> * Management laziness: The beach towel service is terribly managed. You have to pay a €15 deposit per towel, for which they hand you an instruction sheet (see photo) stating you need that sheet to get your deposit back. However, upon returning them, they suddenly demand the original deposit receipt as well! Even the receptionist was confused and didn't know why I had the exchange paper. It is pure laziness on management's part not to update printed instructions and fix this ridiculous process.
> Final Verdict:
> Higher management really needs to be called out and address these glaring operational failures. The hotel itself is pleasant and the buffet food is great, but enforcing rules, handling maintenance, and fixing daily service workflows would make a world of difference.

I read all the reviews and thought I would ignore the negatives until I experienced it. Soo I booked 10 days here currently on my 4th. Air con in the room. Well there isn’t any. There is one bar open in the Evening and the queues are savage . If u want ur kids to have a snack in the afternoon, be prepared to wait around 20 mins for chips and chicken nuggets. No music is played by the pool except 2 songs from Phil Collins . It’s good if ur just here for the strip but not much for kids at all. Really disappointed as paid just under 6grand. Food is vile , my son come down with a sickness bug one day in.-we have booked trips so we’re not in the hotel

The hotel have very good location, near to beach and close to centre . Food is very tasteful , wide variety of food.
Nothing to complain. Staff very nice.

- l emplacement: face à la mer et proche de tout. Si vous louez 1 voiture, Siam Park et Siam Mall sont à 8min sinon vous avez des trotinettes partout et les transports en commun.
- l hôtel est propre
- les chambres sont spacieuses et munies d un balcon suffisamment grand.
- le self est généreux, propre et la nourriture proposée est variées.
- adaptabilité: notre avion était a 19h et nous devions quitter la chambre à 12h. Nous avons pu laisser le temps qu on voulait nos bagages à l accueil.

Fantastic hotel. Rooms cleaned to high standard every day and the choice of food is great. Fantastic entertainment for the kids there’s always something for them to do. Would 100% come again

The gentleman in the restaurant Jose was so friendly and kind, helped us resolve a misunderstanding with the check out day.
