Super 8 by Wyndham Winchester VA

The room was paid for a homeless person to stay. I did not stay there myself. I did visit the hotel to paid for the room. I visited with the lady. the hotel wasn't too clean. I was uncomfortable with the place.

it was a smoking room

Bedsheets in non-smoking room had numerous cigarette burn holes, smoke detector appeared to have been disabled, toilet had fecal material above the water line, and there was garbage behind the furniture (including opened aluminum cans).

There were bed bugs and the condition of the blankets and furniture was disgusting.

The staff was very nice but they need help over there. My husband and I tried to ask but they have one house keeper and no maintenance. They refuse to hire and it shows. There were roaches in our room. The coffee pot was broken missing pieces.. and EVEN NO coffee packs to go with it. No ice bucket.. fridge barely blew air and freezer was broken..shower curtain looked like it had necer been changed. It had blood and who kniws what else on it. Sink was broken...you had to pull on it with he-man strength to use it..dirty brownish towels and wash cloths..we would have changed rooms but i am physically disabled and they have NO HANDICAP ROOMS. It was only room my wheelchair would fit in the bathroom. Pillows are very flat..and to ask for extra pillows or towels. You can forget it..they have a towel shortage, they always say "sorry towels and sheets are dirty" they have no extra. Only when they have laundry staff that comes in weekends to wash what little bit of stuff they have. No elevators..breakfast is only two cereals and toast. Juice looked like it had stuff floating in it like black crumbs and crusty stuff. I dont know how they dont see that!!!! Coffee watered down. This could be a nice motel. Its guests are mostly extended stays who been living there for months and years. If they invested in the motel, remodeled it a little bit, bought stocks of supplies ...hired housekeeper (s) more than one and maintenance staff... it could be a potential decent motel. Prices are cheap but you can get EXACT same price ACROSS THE STREET at the TRAVELODGE and it is immaculate and SUPER CLEAN over there. Very good breakfast at the TRAVELODGE. AMAZING STAFF..ROOMS ARE SO SO CLEAN.. beds are super comfy. You can get same price as SUPER 8 just drive down at 160 Front Royal pike. Its right down the street ..literally two minutes. Travelodge is considered like a HILTON for amazing budget price 68$ a night. Go over there instead. You won't be disappointed. Its been newly remodeled by new owners and its fabulous 🥰🥰🥰

Disgusting place. Never again. Someone had been lying on the bed before I got there. Sheets had holes and black stains. No back to tv remote. Dead bolt didn't work. Bathroom door was hard to open all the way, the faucet in bathroom was very hard to turn on. Garbage in hallway, strange food being cooked...you could smell it all night long! Ugh. Flop house!

Superb8 by Wyndham in Winchester off of 81 was a mistake to stay at. Due to work I was there for 2 nights and I didn't have time to get a refund for my nights because of the timing I was coming and leaving for work. But it was dark, hot and loud. It was not clean, there was a roach in my bath tub alive, someone's old urine on the floor and bottom half of my toilet and a piece of broken tooth in my ice bucket and trash left in the room. The door did not stay closed and the safety lock at the top was broken. I didn't feel clean or safe there stayed on the phone with my husband during the entire time I was trying to sleep there. Which was not possible because it was loud wnd I felt unsafe to the point I stacked my furniture in front of my door.

Staff was friendly and polite very helpful
